Where do we go?

Serious question where do we go from here?

I like most everyone else was pissed on Sunday when I found out Currie was about to trot out GS as the new head coach. I didn't even know about the Washington Post article, my immediate thought was what has this guy accomplished to deserve the job. I was thinking there is a reason this guy hasn't been employed as a HC since he was fired form TB.

Now, I watched the national media all but crucify us all day yesterday. We don't look good to anyone on the outside. I have no clue what coach will walk into this mess.

So realistically, where do we go from here?

Start with either a OC/DC at power 5 or HC in mid-majors, work your way down and hope you don't end up in FCS

this is not the first time Tennessee was crucified...probably won't be the last...that's what happens when you stand up for what you believe...just ask Jesus...don't worry, we'll get "somebody" to coach...just may not be the one you want, but as fans, we'll do what we did when Butch was hired...we'll stand behind him and give him a chance to succeed...make no mistake it will be a rebuilding process in more ways than recruiting...who knows this may turn out better than anyone could imagine...I believe because I want to...as it is written, so shall it be...:)

I have an idea for our next coach. He should be confident, dynamic, understand how Nick Saban, Dan Mullen and Kirby Smart think, be unafraid of all comers, thick skinned,know how to score tds,know how to recruit and be familiar with pressure of big boy football.

Now, would checking all these boxes make anyone happy?
If so, I know a guy.

Short of shutting the football program down, there's little hope with Currie as AD.....all the fans can do is vote with our pocket books, but I have a feeling this is the beginning of another decade of dwelling at the very bottom of the SEC

Say the Ole Miss/Hugh Freeze sanctions that are expected soon allow Freeze to coach, why wouldn't he be a possibility? Living in Mississippi and regularly attending Rebel games, I could support him. Plus, he pulled off Bama wins twice. Not many can claim such. Maybe just wishful thinking from a Mississippi Vol ....
