Where did Tennessee play their games at before Lindsey Nelson?

Just a little bit South of LN. Bert Rechichar hit a few balls onto and over the railroad tracks when he played football and baseball for us in 1949-1951.

I remember being able to walk out of the ROTC offices in Stokely and cross the street to watch baseball. A nice way to spend Spring afternoons.

My dad told me one time that baseball was played at sheilds watkins way back ..maybe 30's .... but ive always known it being at Lower Hudson field ..site on the stadium now ... but as far as I can remember in the 60's is as far as I go .. so Id says it was played at shield watkins and lower hudson ..

LNS sits on what was called Lower Hudson Field where they had a few bleachers up until 1992.
Coolers were allowed. LNS was largely constructed between Spring of 1992 and 1993 season. At least the main portion. It has been altered several times since.

Lower Hudson was used for several decades. Before then they bounced around including games at Shields-Watkins.
