I don't believe I have ever seen anything more asinine on the college football live set this morning calling out Tennessee to fly in a low fifth behind Kentucky. Can they direct me to their drug dealer? The year that Tennessee finished behind Kentucky in the SEC East is the year when I send Joker Phillips all of my life savings. Boy, the media is in for a rude awakening this year, counting us out, putting us down, it's ok because I am gonna laugh my ass off when Tennessee shows up and I get to hear them try to vouch for their lame ass excuses.

It's in the realm but 4-8? That type of crack they are smoking can knock out a stallion! We are too talented and naysayers are underestimating the coaching staff. I see 7-5 and a bowl but no less than .500!

This is true. How does Notre Dame get an entire segment and talk about winning a national title when they have been equally as bad as us if not worse?!

Anyone who watches the college preview shows to see what they say about us after this past year is a glutton for punishment.

I will not believe that we are that poor of a team. I just won't. I hope the players remember all of this come game time!! They can use the fuel!!

If you've followed football for very long, you will have noticed by now that the "experts" often make erroneous pre-season projections. I'd rather have them underrating the Vols at this point because the Vols have a history of proving the so-called experts wrong.

They have a new coach that took his previously mediocre team to 2 recent BCS bowls. We...well...we don't.

we have finished below vanderbilt in the sec east twice in the last 5 years. not sure why finishing below kentucky is such a stretch.

Georgia 5-3, 9-3
S Carolina 4-4, 7-5
Kentucky 3-5, 7-5
Tennessee 3-5, 6-6
Vanderbilt 0-8, 2-10

That's my prediction. I have UT and UK tied for 4th in the east, with UT winning head to head. UK will have the better overall record because of their OOC schedule.

Kentucky has won at least 7 games the last 4 years...granted we've still finished with a better SEC record than they have

Meh, the Vols always play better as underdogs anyway!! I am already tired of these dbag ESPN announcers. The only few I like are Desmond, Herbsreit, that Brock guy, and Luginbil, the rest can suck a root!!

I'm amazed that any UT fan is thinking this will be anything short of a terrible season. I'm an alum, donor and life long fan. But I'm also realistic. We've entered our Dubose era.
