There aren't any polls. Sorry if it ruffles your feathers. I just want to see what majority is thinking. A lot of people will vote on the poll who are lurkers.

I'm just saying JM3 still looks like he could just explode and dominate. On the other hand, he can keep overthrowing all his deep balls, and standing in the pocket flat footed for five minutes. It's still a crap shoot at this point ---slightly concerned

I went back and watched the game again today. He actually played better than I thought. As said many times before if he hits a few deep balls and Hyatt doesn’t have 3 drops, it would be a totally different conversation. There was one drive Carvin had 2 pretty questionable holding calls that took back a touchdown and then a nice Milton run for a first down. Then the Hyatt drop on 3rd and long and we’re probably in the end zone again. Biggest question I have is him seeing the open receivers and pulling the trigger in time. He’s got to anticipate guys being open and not waiting two seconds after they are to throw it. If he can do that and put some more arc on the deep balls he’ll do great. It was the first game in this system so I expect there will be a lot of improvement going forward. Watching it live, his performance seemed pretty concerning after the first two drives, but the replay helped me see he did a lot of good things that were not obvious the first time. Definitely still a lot to clean up, but I’m a little more encouraged after the replay.

That sounds great. But when you’re up 28 against one of the worst teams in college football you work on some things. That’s what you should do. In our case, he should’ve put in another QB and let them throw the damn ball.

Heupel doesn’t know who our best qb is based on seeing them go through 3 weeks worth of drills and a couple of scrimmages. You never know what anyone will do under the bright lights. Personally, I believed Bailey would be the best qb we have and I still believe that. I think heupel feel in line with the thought of a 250 pound running qb with a huge arm. But size and arm strength are overrated. Those are great qualities so long as you can first do the more important things. Which are…throw on time and accurately to the right read most of the time. Nothing else matter if you can’t do that and Milton didn’t look to be consistently able to do that. Even against a horrid defense that gave him all day to throw. There’s plenty of time to correct it but heupel’s made his first mistake. There’s almost no way Bailey wouldn’t have put up way better number against BG. The same is true for hooker.

I'm very concerned as I did not see Milton play at a level it takes to be successful in the SEC as a QB. I'm not done with him yet, but a second outing with PITT similar to what we saw against BGSU will make me done.

Looked great until Cooper went down. Then Milton struggled when pressure picked up. Still early, but he's gonna have learn to play through the pressure, as it's only gonna get worse as we head into SEC play.

He'll have to get a lot better and fast or this is a 4-5 win team.

Get to a place where he can stretch the field with his arm and also run it some, and we can win 7-8. It's that simple.

I think we end up with another QB by or after the UF game. Unless it goes from bad to worse. We will find out Saturday.

UGA has a good D, but Clemson's OL isn't that great and they're QB looked awful. He was very inaccurate all game. Unless he starts playing better, this Clemson team won't win 10 regular season games, even in the ACC.
