When you see other Vol fans in public do you say anything to them, like a "Go Big Orange" or a "Go Vols"?

I've noticed a lot of Bama fans do this, saying Roll Tide to every damn person they come across. I find it awkward personally.

What say you?

Maybe if I'm in another state or something.. It's too common in east TN to do that though.

I say "Go Vols" to someone wearing the Power T when I'm in the northeast or on the west coast. Or in Texas; always have to acknowledge the Real UT. The last two times I have been outside the U.S. (over eight years and both times in Asia), I saw Vol fans. GBO!!

I do now that I live away from TN. I usually get a big wave on the road if I see another Vol fan at a red light, too.

I go out of my way to tell bammers, Gators, Pansybilt, etc fans Go Vols whenever possible. It should go without saying that I tell fellow Vols the same.

If I am out of Tennessee, I absolutely give a Go Vols to those rocking the orange or the power T.

I have heard a Go Vols yelled at me in almost every state of the south, as I usually have on something with a Power T or orange. I was in New Orleans this March and saw several Vols around the French Quarter. It's great to run into family behind enemy lines.

I was driving over Vail pass the other day and I noticed a car with an Alabama front plate(the A). At the time I was driving in the left lane. I immediately cut him off and when I looked in the rear view he was laughing and making an "A" with his hands(I have a power T on the back of my truck). I then rolled down the window and flipped him off. He laughed and I continued in the right lane for a few miles at a slow speed so he could take in the power T.

I saw a ton of vol fans down at the music in midtown festival in Atlanta this past weekend. Lots of "go vols" we're exchanged. Also, any Clemson, sc, or other fanbase I saw I'd say "f#%^ Georgia" as I walked past and that usually got a favorable response

Depends on what the other person looks like, sometimes I just don't want to be associated with some UT fans.

You actually saw people in Clemson gear? That's not normal after a loss.

Well when you live 14 hrs away by plane, you make sure to say "go vols" to a Tennessee fan you see. In the little overa yeari have been here I have seen three Tennessee fans, one Georgia, one Alabama, an lsu family, and some big ten and acc fans.
