Well that’s not really true. We have had some really good running back trios through the years. We may not, probably do not have an elite back, but you can get by just fine with 3 solid to good backs.
It's 100% false.

How do you probably know we don't have an elite back? Specifics please

James “Little Man” Stewart, Aaron Hayden, & Charlie Garner were a pretty good trio!

I’m not sure if we have that level on campus at the moment, but the running game depends a lot on the OL.
Charlie Garner was ELITE. That's why he started ahead of those other two when he got to campus. It was their sophomore year when he got here from JC

That saying is meant for a QB competition that hasn't been settled due to lack of ovbious skill seperation and is also not true. Leak and Tebow were a good example of having two QBs. Leinhrt and Palmer, Heupel and Hybl, Jason White and Rhett Boamer come to mind as debunkers. As for runningbacks, if you were here in the 90's and early 2000's, you can easily have three or four capable of playing at time without it being a lack of talent issue.
