When will we know the full 2026 schedule?

WTF...who do you think we are, South Carolina?

If that were this year's schedule we would have three currently ranked top 10 teams and that doesn't include Bama. A total of 5 ranked and would have been 6 if Auburn wouldn't have gotten screwed by the refs last week. Oh and since we have Georgia Tech next year make it 7.

And the pundits were gushing over Oregon having three ranked opponents this year. That schedule is going to be brutal. This new nine-game schedule is going to be difficult for everyone every year. To have any shot at the conference title or playoff, the staff is going to have to recruit at an elite level, coach at an elite level and players are going to have to perform at an elite level.

You think a freshmen QB will navigate that schedule? That’s top 5 in SoS next year.

I really don’t think it’s that bad, honestly. A&M is the only truly intimidating road game and we get the top teams at home, where we rarely lose under Heupel. LSU is probably breaking in a new QB, as well, and are coached by Brian Kelly. Texas is tough, but not unbeatable. Same for Bama. Auburn is mid until proven otherwise.

You do realize we’ll also be breaking in a new QB next year and with the portal & NIL, it’s not like these teams will be relying on a roster full of redshirt freshmen. Anyone who thinks we don’t have a tough schedule next year has their head in the sand.
