Say we fire Dooley but not til the end of the season when would be the round about date? Like for example if he is here in February would it be safe to say they aren't letting him go? I just wonder when they will make a move not when we want them to.

If he is still employed a week after the Kentucky game I will be floored. I fully expect a resignation Monday. Based on reports tomorrow probably will not be pretty.

Where have you been? According to the Gruden thread Dooley is already gone and Gruden is currently sleeping at the AD looking at recruiting film and talking to Cowher and Belicheck about joining the staff.

AD would not wait until February for a firing. That would ruin any hopes of a good recruiting class.

If Dooley is still the coach in February then he will have one more year to prove himself.

This. If he is here on Dec. 1 something has gone terribly wrong in the AD.

The last two UT coaches were fired Sunday Night/Monday morning after a USClite loss. I suspect that won't change.

He will "resign" just like Fulmer resigned. Minus the farewell tour. Dooley is done. SC will be how final game.

I still think Dools will be fired on Monday. But I don't think we will know the name of the next coach until mid-November at the earliest

I just hope we retain CJG he has really improved our backs. Chaney must must must go. I hate him more than Dooley.

I think Chaney meets up with the other teams defensive coordinator before the games and tells him what we are gonna do. I lost all respect for him when on first down we run for 3 yards second down we run for 6 and third down we need one stinkin yard and we throw a Hail Mary. He is a idiot. If I was Dooley tonight I would call the plays myself. The fact that he hasn't took over yet makes me feel he could either care less about UT football or he knows he has some kind of job security. Either way is terrible for us.

Worst so called insider ever. People please quit believing this guy. Said that Dooley firing would be announced Sunday and Gruden would publicly announce he'd be the next coach on Monday Night Football this past Monday :lolabove::lolabove::lolabove:

How'd he get 'insider' status anyway?
