Florida and Georgia in the same season but didn't make it to the SEC Champ game?

I don't feel very confident that LSU will beat them.

The only time that happened was 1992. We beat them with Fulmer as the interim head coach and then Majors returned and lost three straight.

Fwiw, I do think LSU beats Florida in a low scoring game.

I'm thinking just the opposite. Florida is suffering from a similar injury bug as us. I think Fournette runs well at what will probably be one of his last home games. YOU CAN NOT UNDERESTIMATE A HOME GAME IN BATON ROUGE ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! I'm confident enough that I'm getting my tix to SEC Championship game now!

Unfortunately the game isn't at night

In 1992, we beat Florida at Neyland in the rain. We also beat UGA when Shuler threw a completed pass to Ronald Davis to seal the win. However; "O" Bama & florida played in the first S.E.C. C.G. because we lost to Ar Kansas and USC ended in a tie. THanks Johnny Majors!

2004, we beat them both and went to SECCG.

1998, we beat them both and went to SECCG

It's a bad matchup for Florida to begin with and injuries have really become a problem.

I don't think Florida wins again until possibly the bowl game.

In 2002, 2005, 2010, and 2014, Florida beat Tennessee and Georgia and did not go to the SEC Title Game.

Doesn't matter...we will not win out with this defense.

LOL! Have you seen the Missouri and Vanderbilt offenses? They are not capable of exploiting our considerable weaknesses on defense. I am concerned about the Vandy game both because it is away and because their defense will cause our offense some problems. Our defense, though, will be fine the next two games.

LSU is, and should be, an overwhelming favorite.

I do think UF has a better shot with Appleby than Del Rio (which is very ironic, LMAO), but still expect LSU to win comfortably.

OP UF literally has zero chance to beat LSU @LSU. UF won't score a point on offense.

Lost to South Carolina in 1992 on a failed 2 point conversion

Watching LSU tonight and a bit of Florida earlier today? LSU wins running away. It won't even be close.

As for us winning out, I watched most of Mizzou-Vandy. We should beat both of those teams handily, even if we have some Jekyll-Hyde schizophrenia.

Arkansas beat Florida by about twenty points. LSU just beat Arkansas by 4 touchdowns. I think LSU has a pretty good shot at winning.

You have a point about Mizzou. But Vandy is a little different. What would you say is the main weakness of our defense? I would say its stopping the run. Guess who has, statistically speaking, the 3rd best RB in the SEC? Vandy. Ralph Webb is an explosive runner. He will likely cause us all kinds of problems. Dont count out a very close game with Vandy or possibly a loss.

Neither does LSU. Will be a close game.

LSU has a much better offense than UF and I think they have the better defense. It could be close but I think LSU will run away with it. I could see if LF stays healthy, LSU beating UF by 17-21 points.
