From around 1991 or 1992 through about 1999 I would go in the locker room after games and after every win the team sang "We're From Tennessee" and I know that tradition goes waaaay back.

I've seen videos of the current regime with the team singing a very fast version on Rocky Top. Have they abandoned "We're From Tennessee"?

If so, that's disgraceful!

Anyone know?

I always thought that song was "reserved" for when we beat Bama. If that is the case, forgetting the words might be a possibility.

Yep....singing rocky top instead of we're from Tennessee is unforgivable. Just when I thought this board couldn't reach any lower.....

After the National Championship, winning seemed to become less frequent. THAT is disgraceful.

After the Dooley video was leaked, the administration is much tighter on what is allowed to be filmed post-game.

Are you a VFL? If so talk to Antone Davis and tell him its disgraceful.

Don't write it on a board that no one that has the POWER to change will read it.

But I would bet you are not a VFL and this is the only media that would listen, things change including traditions so move on.

The kids don't need a schedule what to sing to be sure they hit all of the traditions that has been started and or stop sometime in a history.

By the way what color is your hair?

Perhaps it's because quite a bit of the team is from GA, FLA, ALA....

No. They used to sing it after every victory. If it was a state school they would insert the whole state of such and such. If it were born for North Texas they would insert words like the whole school of Auburn where the whole school of North Texas. It was saying after each and every victory home or away

I'm 35 years old. I used to go in the locker room as a preteen and teenager. That song is more of a tradition at Tennessee then Rocky Top is

I remember walking down the halls of our hotel in Birmingham, when we still played Alabama in Birmingham, singing I don't give a damn about Alabama, we from Tennessee, our after victories over them. We will be singing it agin but not in Birmingham. Does Tuscaloosa have hotels?

3rd down for what
coaches
players
youth
resiliency
Depth
Experience
Process
coach speak
Kesling
Deboard
Jancek
Martinez

Give me a break. It's obviously not that big a deal if most fans aren't even aware of it. Why does this bother you? As long as they win, they can sing "I Touch Myself" for all I care.
