When do tix go on sale ?

Probably be toward the end of July. Tennessee is now using Ticketmaster so all single game tickets will be offered via TM.

My understanding is that Tennessee did not take tickets from Pitt. All they offered UT were bad upper deck seats. Much better seats available via Pitt ticket office.

I heard they gave about 1500 lowers. For coaches families, UT staff, and band. No donors. Could be wrong but heard it from two donors.

Debating it, it's that or do a huge Florida game tailgate... Can't decide

You get 7-8 chances a year to do home tailgates, you may never get another chance to watch the Vols in the NE. I love away games for that reason alone, learning the other teams traditions, etc. Just my two cents.

I only make 3-5 games and only usually do 1-2 tailgates a year because I drive from Virginia.

Heinz field is a fine stadium. Sits next to the river like Neyland and you can walk to a lot of restaurants nearby. Hyde Park has great steaks and a tasty smoked old fashioned from what I remember. Go down to the Strip District and eat at Pamela's Diner for breakfast. Go to Wigle's for some good whiskey and then next door to Coop De Ville for drinks after the game.

Its not Neyland, but anyone going should have a good time.
