What's your gut telling you about the UCLA game?

Well six days out, what is your gut feeling going into the UCLA game? Are you calm and confident, or just have a lot of anxiety? I, for one, am calm and confident that we will win by at least 14 points. I also think that while Clawson doesn't want to put too much out there for Florida to see, the offense will be pleasingly efficient. I will say that I am anxious to see how the defense plays, whether it's lights out, or same ole, same ole.

I agree. honestly i am much more excited for the NC state USCe game and the Clemson Bama game. i really hope the team is not in the same mindset though or this could get ugly

My gut is telling me Sept. 20th. will be here very soon now. Oh UCLA, we will beat them by 20. It won't even be close.

wouldnt be surprised at all if it were close. no doubt we win, but being 2-7-1 in cali doesnt give me alot of confidence. anywho, my gut says we are better by 2 scores, just not as easily as we like to think. a hard fought physical battle would be better for our team starting out the year as opposed to a cake walk... 34-20

I think we win but it could end up being uncomfortably close if they stop the run some.

I feel we are going out there to kick their teeth out. Welcome aboard the crazy train, by the way.

I hope you all are right. I hope the fans are not over confident. I know the team isn't.
We are going all the way out there and they are a legitimate 1A team.

I am cautiously optimistic. If we bring our A game the score will b 30 -14. If we don't then it may be a long day.

this might just be me being negative, but I think alot of Vol fans expectations will come crashing back to reality with a couple 3 and outs, turnovers and TDs given up on defense.

Well, thank you Debbie Downer for sharing that with us. I know it's a long trip out to Pasadena, but I think this team is focused on taking care of business.

We might have a turnover or two with crompton adjusting, but they won't score on us much

There's not enough excuses in the world to get excited about NC State football. I don't care who they are playing.

With that being said I will be glued to the TV all night Thursday.

Yeah, they've been treating me well. Made me some Baked Ziti last night. That Rod Wilks can make a mean loaf of Garlic Bread.

if you call and lay your life savings on the Vols winning by 17 you better find second third and fourth jobs.

Calm and anxious at the same time....I have faith we will win...how easily we win will tell the story of the season....

I'm confident and excited. I don't care if we whip them silly or not, as long as we win, demonstrate understanding of the new offense without too many mistakes, and avoid injuries. I'm going to have a blast, and I'm going to be hoarse for several days.

My gut is telling me to not talk so much crap about my favorite football team until they show it on the field. I feel we will stomp UCLA, but what looks good on paper doesn't always look so good in real life.
