If I had the privledge of playing for a major D1 school let alone UT i would never put my playbook down.

I expected this coming off of SB, but its time for this offensive unit to come together and show some consistency. As the spring goes along i guess we will see who are leaders are on that side of the ball. I heard of a lot of dropped balls as well today so they have some hard work ahead to be ready for the fall.

Defense keep it up were going to need them again making plays and saving the offense through the early part of the season.

Yeah, I really hope they get it together. Last year you could tell by watching they never thought they could score and I never saw an offensive player look like he was going 110%. It made me sick to watch. Im confident that Kiffin and Co. will break this and get them to where they need to be.

I like it because CLK is calling out the offense to the media. You know they don't want to be embarrassed anymore after such a horrible season. I don't think we would have gotten that kind of honesty from CPF an co.

I hope our defense will beat some sense of purpose into our offense so we don't have to see anything remotely as pathetic as what we watched on offense last year.

Man up, Offense! This is your chance to make up for losing a boatload of football games last year.

No, the report from CPF would be that the offense was working like heck to get better, and that he needs to look at the film to see what happened. :clapping:

I agree 100% ...Ol' Phil woulda been blowing sunshine and planting daisys . I really like that Kiffin is honest . His honesty alone tells me that he sees the problem and intends to do something about it . He also speculated that , ' maybe they had put to many plays in and they weren't ready for that ' Tells me that the guy is already processing the problem , looking for causes , and I have no doubt he will adress it with whatever adjustments he sees fit .
Not a huge deal that the D is ahead of the O in the spring . D is athletic and reactive ...O is precision . Shows too that the D is still dominant and so is Monte . Will be more worried if we hear this in the fall after all the reps are in .

In that article it stats that it is a split practice saturday, haslam and Neyland. Is it open again on saturday?

The thing that concerns me about the offense is that they may be playing as well as they can and the sorry fact is that too many of them just suck. They could be carrying around their playbooks from now until hell freezes over and be coached by the greatest coaches available and it will still be what it is.

You guys love to demonize Fulmer but he made a habit of calling units and players out publicly... No need to add more that isn't true to what is already a sufficient case against him.

"We've got to do a better job of coaching them"
Our politicians could learn a little from this line.

Read the article... you guys are missing it. Pure coach speak.

No doubt the defense beat the offense but there was nothing like the fatalism you guys seem to assume in his comments. In all actuality, his comments sound a great deal like what we've gotten from CPF over the past several years... not just last year when they weren't very good. Praise then disappointment... repeat the cycle.

Dont yall imagine that there is a huge diff between what Phil thought was a good offense and what Kiffin thinks! We are prolly better than we was but not upto Kiffin's standard! So i think were ok!
