Hope everyone is well. Took a much needed break from volnation. Hate to say, ive had no interest in vols football leading up to the season, as i anticipated what would happen today.
I watched most of the game. I hated to see us unprepared and not knowing who to block on our first play from scrimmage. Scary resemblance of the last decade.
Glad the guys showed some fight as they were clearly outmatched in all aspects.
We have a few solid players, Jordan was pretty impressive. Not sure why we didnt target JJ more. I liked going for it on 4th and goal. I hated the draw plays on 3rd and long. I get it early on, but when you are down 14, chuck it out there and see what happens. Heck put JK, Callaway and WA out on trips and just throw it up.
Oline will be a problem.
Its hard to gauge our d since its pretty well known that wv offense is really good. Whats troubling is that our offense was all but shut down most of the game and wv defense is probably not as strong as it looked today.
Hopefully, we have a good November and make a bowl game. Sadly, getting to 6 wins will be difficult.
With Navy getting the crap beat out of them right now, i could use a good game. Hopefully the Titans can provide a little of that.
