The only issue is that there are 4 SEC teams in the top 7, including UT, so SEC play is going to be very competitive.

With the talent they have, they should be a World Series-type team again this year.

is the NCAA rankings for D1 softball.

The LV's are #12 and the 4th SEC team listed.

I believe that poll is old and the LV's are up to at least #8. Saw it in the article about them beating #3 UCLA so they may go up
