what was the great corso's record as a coach....something like 78w88 losses....i dont understand what gives this guy the right to go out and claim football supremacy on saturdays....fowler i believe is just a colorado grad, journalist major and i would much rather just see the show with him and kirk....lee is just there for there laughs, man i hate him

Fowler was smart (lucky?) enough to pick the Vols last week.

In other words, Corso just picked UT over SC, Bama, Arkansas, and Kentucky. Yes surprising, but not out of the realm of possibility.

Corso's picks are like a good margarita, better taken with a grain of salt. He's not quite Holtz, but give him 5 years and "Whoa....LOOK OUT!" Oh and P.S.-

My Aggies are on in a few hours and Im a 6er to the good. Rock on a RockyTop and Gig em' Ags!

Fowler has been reserved in his comments since the whole trailer park frenzy thing. In fact if anything he has tried to kiss up to us since then or maybe he is just taking the high road. Either way fowler has been almost would you say nice towards us since then.:ermm:

Did anybody see the sign on gameday this am? Some kid had a sign comparing Corso's coaching record to Stoops. Good stuff!

Can't comment on how reserved he has been since then, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers that. Every single time I see him I think about that and it pisses me off. Guess I should learn to let go.

What's the big deal? Corso is a goofball, and I find the dynamics between him and Kirk quite entertaining. It wouldn't make for a very interesting show if they both said the same thing every time. He designs his delivery to rile people up, because then it gets talked about (such as this thread) and equals more ratings for their show.

He refused to come here for College Game Day in fear of his life.....well he called it "security reasons".....:)

a meeting at ESPN......after the trailer park Frenzy comment in 97 involving Peyton Manning getting robbed of the Heisman.......we raised hell, he called it the "Trailer Park Frenzy" and he got threats and stuff towards his family....He and ESPN decided he wouldn't be back to Knoxville because of the risk and I know they were there in 2004 for the Florida Game, and I don't think Fowler was there......when we kicked the 51 yarder to win after the personal foul :clapping:

Well I doubt he was that far off when he said it. I'm sure those people who threatened him lived in 'manufactured housing'.

Off of the top of my head, I can also think of 2 other times Gameday was in Knoxville. Both times were in 2002. The Florida and Miami games they attended. Was Gameday in Knoxville for the 2004 Auburn game? There may be other times they were there, but none that I can think off of the top of my head.

I don't care what a person lives in. If they root for the Vols that makes 'em okay by me!

I'm not sure about other times, but yes, Fowler has come back to Knoxville quite a few times since that incident. He's even bragged on the city and the campus. some people just can't get their facts straight.

UT has the east wrapped up---Uf will lose 2 more games (UK and USC), and UT's only hard game is USC at home, which they will win by 10. UT plays Auburn for the SEC title. Auburn will beat a demoralized lsu team next week and win the west.

How does Tennessee have the east wrapped up? According to you USC will beat Florida. And you said USC is Tennessee's only tough game. If Tennessee losses to USC and USC beat Florida and wins out, wouldn't they be the east champs, according to your theory? That seems a far cry from wrapped up.

I meant that UT will beat USC by 10, and with only 1 loss, UT wins the east over UF, UK and USC.
