Whats this point system on infractions?

I'm not stirring the pot, just wandering. Went to my usercp and looked at my old infractions and saw I had "1 point".

Whats up with that, and what does it mean?

We don't really use the points system per seay. Any infractions/warnings are handled on a case by case basis. It mainly just a way to let people know when they've pushed the envelope on the rules.

How do you know when you've gotten one unless you are checking you CP on the reg?

Then how do you know what you got one for?
