What's the craziest thing you've done to show support as a fan?

Tried to rush the field at Neyland after the '01 FL game. If you recall, that was an away game.

Nothing I have done comes close to the above. However, shortly after J.Majors was named the new head coach, oh yeah I am that old, I went around telling everyone and actually betting people that within 3 years the VOLS would contend for a #1 end of season ranking, regularly beat bama, and consistently finish in the top 5 to 10 teams annually. Not that anyone gave a crap in Indiana!!! Oh well I think Beano Cook picked Tennessee to finish #1 one of those early years too. I guess in my elation I forgot Johnny wasn't running the ball himself and T. Dorsett did not come to Knoxville with him.

I once wore an entire Smokey costume to get into the UT-Bama game one year when there were no tickets. The ticket taker had no idea what to do when I came up, and I told them I was the mascot, and they let me through. I ended up taking the costume off, storing it in the stadium, then returned it to the shop the following monday. It worked great!

I wore a University of Tennessee hat to the Music City bowl (year?) It was Va Tech vs Alabama.

I went to the live broadcast of the Kirk Ferentz show at Carlos O' Kelly's in Iowa City the week of the Iowa/Iowa state game 2004- decked out in my Orange and white. I got a lot of p.o.'d glares that evening- especially from Coach, who was no more than 15 feet away from me.

2001 LSU game in K-town after 9/11. We had been hunting in GA and had some how busted our bottle of Gold Bond Baby Powder and placed it in a zip-loc bag, got pulled over in Cleveland dressed in Orange and White and looked like inmates/road workers lying in the grass while the THP investigated our bag of powder.

The stretch of I-75 from exit 33-20 (through Cleveland) is no place to traffic anything illegal. I see cars being searched at the side of the road there on a daily basis.

I'm not saying they profile, but it is almost never a caucasion driver. Volnationals of color, beware!
