Post a picture and back story for your most Sacred of Big Orange Keepsakes.

I posted this in the "EB in an ATL Falcons Jersey" Thread, but thought it would be interesting to see what everybody else has. My most-prized Vol memento is a Black Vol Jersey, signed by Eric Berry.

I had gotten tickets to the 2009 game against Carolina at home(The Kiffin Year). All week, there had been rumors that the team would wear the black jersey's, but nothing was confirmed. I ended up buying a Black Vol Jersey the week before the game, just in case the rumors were true. Unfortunately, when I got to my seats (Which were pretty good) the team was warming up in the all-orange uniforms, which are still cool, but weren't what a lot of people were hoping for. But Wait! In what I thought was a brilliant move, after going back to the locker room, the team re-emerged through the T wearing the Black Jerseys. The crowd and the players were jacked and the Vol's put a good whoopin on Spurrier and the boys.

After the game I was talking with my friend who worked with the training staff for the football team. He said he might be able to get my jersey signed, because he was sometimes around the team. I wasn't expecting much, but my friend comes back a week later, and he had gotten EB to sign the jersey. I also have some post-its (its all my dad had on him) from after the Arky game in '97 with Peyton, Archie(Archie was outside the locker room to greet Peyton), Phil Fulmer, Joey Kent, Jay Graham, Jeff Hall, Jayson Layman, and Chad Clifton's autographs. But my signed, black, Eric Berry Jersey will always be my favorite.

Lets see what yall got!

That's amazing. I figured most people would have to wait to post pictures, but I just happened to have these on my phone. If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the gameballs and gloves? I love hearing interesting Vol stories.

I have a hat signed by Allan Houston, Corey Allen and Steve Hamer. It's tucked away in a closet at my parents house back in TN so no pics, but it did happen, I swear!

Autographed Peyton Manning collegiate football card, I was at an Indy Spring Training camp and got it, I didn't notice until later, but he was signing everything with #18, but he took the time and signed my card with #16. Made it a little more special.

That's Bad A. I was only 9 when I got my Peyton Autograph after they played at Arky in 97'. But I remember Peyton and Archie both being very personable and talked with me and my dad for as long as they could. I also met Archie and Olivia at he airport in Memphis before and they are really nice people.

Good stuff. Its still fun to hear about what everybody has, I realize pics aren't always possible.

I was reminiscing the other day in the bball forum about the game against KY when Houston intentionally missed the FT at the end of the game and Allen had the tip in and FT to win the game at the last second. That was my first KY game in person. That team wasn't the greatest ever but my dad took me to several bball games that year and made for some great memories.

Met Eric Berry after a spring game and we had a white Tennessee helmet magnet on the vehicle so we got him to sign it and now that magnet stays on our refrigerator. It has never been back outside. My husband drives an orange Hummer and we tried to convince him to let Eric Berry sign the Hummer (which would make it a one of a kind) but he would not do it and I think now he kind of regrets it. But he has a photo of him and Eric Berry behind it with his license tag "VOLFNJON". Also, I bought my husband a photo of Jason Witten in his Tennessee uniform and my father-in-law got it signed when Jason made an appearance at a car dealership in TN. Phil Fulmer was there too and he signed a small helmet. I will try to get pictures of all of our treasures and post them.

I have an orange plush football signed by Majors and the entire team - including James Berry - circa 1980ish.

Also have a game worn Roland James tear away jersey.

It always seems like most of the best memories are made when we were young, when our dads take you to gamesee. It's our indoctrination time into All Things Tennessee.

Sweet. I always regretted I never got anything signed from JW. Can very easily be considered the greatest tight end of all time. Either him or Gonzales. Maybe Winslow Sr.

How did you get the Jersey if you don't mind me asking?

My Dad was a friend of a player's father and he knew the player as well, so he hooked me up. He also was roommates with Bill Bates one year. He had tickets for us and we went to his room in Gibbs Hall to pick them up and I was able to meet Bates.

Autograph photos of Peyton Manning and Pat Summitt, and an autographed pen and ink drawing of Heath Shuler. My parents got Jeff Hall's autograph on a church bulletin after he spoke to their congregation and were nice enough to give it to me.

Also, if you ever see photographer Phil Reich around, he was PK for the Vols in 1987. I saw him at the big Nashville flea market several years ago and asked him if he was "the" Phil Reich. He promptly produced a photo of him with HC Johnny Majors and signed it for me.
