what would you do?

I thought this would be better to be in the recruiting forum. Mods move if necessary.

In light of all the penn state stuff that happened yesterday, there has been much discussion on here about some of their recruits flipping or current players transferring. Everyone has been wondering who we may have a shot at. It got me wondering, what if the shoe was on the other foot. If ut was in a situation where guys like bray, hunter, Da'rick, etc, were able to transfer for whatever reason. Who would stick by the program and who would leave? Then i thought, what if i were a player? What would i do? Which is the question i pose to volnation: if you were a recruit or current player, would you flip/transfer from the school you love or would you stick by the program no matter what?

This would probably work better as a poll but im on my phone and i dont know how to do one anyways. Also, this may be better for the football forum but i figure its dealing with aspects of recruiting so i put it here.

I could remain on the team that has scholarship reductions and probably no real good prospects even interested in playing at school X.
I remain and have no real offensive line to block for me. This will mean that my chances of injury are really increased. Do not want to be injured.
If I have NOT used my red-shirt season, then I would transfer to another school and use the red-shirt to learn the system. For this season, most teams have their two deep rotation almost set in place. So, I would not be able to play this season anyway. I don't know the system and the roster is pretty much set in stone.
If I am a senior and do not have a red shirt season left, then I stay at school X and play it out.

A third option is to remain in school, on scholarship, and just not play football.

•The Nittany Lions also must try to retain current players and signed recruits who, as Brady said, are "all free agents now." As he announced the penalties, NCAA President Mark Emmert said current players can transfer to any school without having to sit out a season, or can remain on scholarship at Penn State even if they do not play. A high school coach said he already got a call from Alabama coach Nick Saban checking on an incoming Penn State freshman.

Penn State's football future looks like death penalty
