What would be better for Tennessee?

What would ultimately be better for Tennessee??
If Florida won?
If Georgia won?

In my opinion, I want A&M to rough up Florida and sort of demoralize them. I want a low scoring game with not much spark. I do want them to win so the win looks better for us.

But could they gain momentum going into Knoxville?

It probably doesn't matter much with the conference schedule, but a Vol win over the Turds will be perceived as more impressive if they haven't just been beaten by A&M the week before.

I hav questioned this myself. I think it is ultimately better if Florida wins because it will help our ranking if we beat them. On the other hand with Georgia I think we want them to lose because we know we are prob gonna take a loss to AL. GA schedule is pretty easy and I think they are our main competition for the east.

Did this crap come up when we had regular winning seasons? It's always better when our rivals lose. Always.

I know a lot of people think that a FL win will be better for our strength of schedule, but personally I want them to lose so we are a game up in the SEC race before we even play them. I think a legitimate goal for us is to get to Atlanta, and I'm pulling for that all season.

I want Florida to get beat Florida to me is like Alabama and vandy I always want them to lose don't care who they play !!!!!!!!

If Ga loses they'll blame it on their missing players.Fla will just try and amp it up for us the next week.I don't think theres a good or bad either way. We need to stay focused,play week to week,and Win! We get a little love in the media,but until we put up against fla and ga we won't be relevant.

I have gone full circle. I was wanting a & m to crush Florida, nick em up, and take away confidence.
Now, I want Florida to bounce back, beat them, then see a good game next week and a vol double digit win against a ranked Florida team.

Even though I hate Florida and dislike UGA you hate to see either lose to the newcomers. Why the hell did the SEC give Mizzou and TAM home games to start their SEC experience out? UF 12-6 over TAM. UGA 27-24 over Mizzou. Book it.

Mizzou plays Alabama UGA does not

This team could still falter at some point this season. It will be better for all East teams (minus UT) to lose as many as possible. I'm hoping there won't be any faltering, but it isn't out of the question.

It's better for us if Florida loses because it's an SEC west opponent and would put then a game behind in the east standings. It's good for us if UGA loses because they have such an easy schedule in the SEC, not playing any of the heavy hitters from the west. Of course that would also put Missou in the thick of the east race.

Yeah i want Florida to be 2-0 and right now the 24th best team in the nation. (which i do not believe) But i think Georgia will go down at Missouri. I hope Florida and Georgia are both undefeated when we play them.:yes:

Really, the bottom line is, if we win, it doesn't matter what these other schools do. We play both fla and ga and we'll have the tie break against them if we beat them. As far as the rankings go, that doesn't matter either right now. If we continue to win that will take care of itself. So, I hope fla and ga get their brains beat out! I want both of their seasons to crater so badly that we steal away their best recruits.

Who cares?! We need to take care of OUR business and not rely on other teams losing. Personally, I want to play every team when they are undefeated, and then stomp them into the ground!! Let's rely on UT demoralizing teams and not on some other team doing it for us.

If we didn't play GA state and played a little better cupcake to at least give us a little more challenge to get us ready for FL next week. Our starters will be out by second half. I know it gives some others a chance but against what? As we always say here when someone goes against the flow, go ahead flame away.
