What will it take to fire Butch Jones?

No one would take this job given how quick this fan base jumps to 'fire the coach'.

Would take a couple of 2-10 seasons.
Nothing else to do in Knoxville so fans(spectators) will support(buy tickets) this team if they win 5 or 12. Always have. always will.

I personally don't want to see Butch Jones fired.

What I want is to see is the FANS rally behind this team rather than tearing the coaches and the players apart.

The funny thing is, a lot of our big wins are a direct result of Dobbs putting the team on his back and dominating. Our entire game plan is based on a few players making outstanding individual efforts.

Some folks don't get what the coaching carousel results with. They think the players that are here will stay. Some will but many will move on when they find they don't fit the style associated with the new coach.

Injuries lead to lack of consistency within the units that are on the field. Yes it is up to the coaches to help work through that, but when you are dealing with multiple replacements it is more difficult and sometimes impossible.
