I hear ya, I hate when high school seniors make mistakes. The only way i can get over it is to talk smack about them on the internet.

/sarcasm

In addition when you find yourself reacting like this to the actions of a high school kid, take a couple weeks off from recruiting news because you're in too deep.

I'm fine. IMO the kid shouldn't bad mouth UF bc he didn't get admitted. He should be classy about it and move on. UF can't tell it's side of the story and he knows this so he deflects the blame. He won't be at UT, UM or any school very long until he grows up more.

I never said they should turn him down if he was out of shape. But if they have the option of working him out, why wouldn't they? If they didn't recruit him much last year, they probably don't have a thorough evaluation for him.

We offered him a long time ago.. I think we were in his top 5.

4* DT....bring him on. I just hope Dooley and Co. are making sure of his attitude before they offer. We don't need a kid to come in and disrupt any semblence of team chemistry.

Now we have recruited some bigger players on OL and DL, even an initial bad attitude can be fixed by other big guys. Teammates more than coaches fix players attitudes.

No way the other players will let montori hughes happen now. Jmo

If he's mobile enough, he's a perfect size for a 3 / 4 DE. A little light for a DT in the SEC.

268lber benching 305 lbs light? Not too bad for an 18 year old in my opinion. Definitely could use some S&C time but good potential.

IMO, yes.

That is deceptive...he is 6'6.....all 300lbs benches are not created equal. A 6'2 guy has to go a lot shorter distance to go then a 6'6 guy. That 4 inches in height is a LOOOOONG ways when you factor in wing span. But I would expect somewhere in the 350 range for a DT sitting at 270, however he can add 50-100lbs to that bench easy with a solid year under a S&C program.

Also, I think his max squat was in the 470 range, which is pretty damn good for a 6'6 18 year old.

If he comes here don't expect much his first year might even be red-shirted...gotta learn a new defense & wasn't here in the Summer learning it with the new guys...with that said I hope he still comes to UT
