just quoting what they are saying... GO VOLS!

Idk what to think. Our offense is bad. Like haven't seen them since first half of Carolina game bad. Ut has to have some athletes on defense I would at least assume. I'm not counting this as such a slam dunk myself now.
We play like we have the past month and this is a road game, good fight IMO. I hope we open up the offense now with house money and whoop them. But I've seen no signs to suggest as much. And our poor D is tired.

They struggled to like 20 yards rushing and 14 points against Charlotte.
If we show up to play, we win. If we let UGA beat us again, we’re in a dog fight or lose.

Can UT beat us, well anything is possible but UT ain't Georgia. I worry about Central Michigan when we play them but our D was ripped by a great team in Georgia. we put up 17 points and moved the ball just had drives stall out or TO. I have never thought they were an "easy" win but yes I think they are a win

UT didn't score for three quarters against Charlotte.
Now read that again.

And UK has two starting LBs with broken hands and a safety in West that must sit the 1st half.

I think you are underestimating your team. UT has 1 player who would start for us, if he blocks and that is the WR Calloway, if he doesn't block he wouldn't see the field. They are a trainwreck right now, Pruitt is going to sign an epic class this signing day, lots of things happening as we speak and they will get better, but none of those guys are going to help them the 10th of Nov this year.

Simply put, UGA is on another level, maybe two levels better than UK and they did us a favor. They saved us a really embarrassing beatdown by the best Bama team I've ever seen.
Yesterday's loss was more about UGA being >> UK than UK's bad offense. I actually thought our offense moved the ball better at times yesterday than they have in over a month. But UGA is just much better.
The problem started at the LOS on offense and defense. UK has some dudes, but UGA's dudes are much bigger, stronger and more talented.
There's no reason to trash our team though. Yeah, UT isn't just going to roll over, but we're still easily good enough to beat UT next week.

Yes. SEC is shaking out like this:
Alabama
Then, UGA
Then, UK, Texas A&M, Florida
Then, everyone else with the occassional good game (see Mizzou).
We have jumped a level and should be happy about it, but need to make further strides to get to the UGA and Alabama level. Louisville is a dumpster fire and UT’s offensive struggled against whatever backyard university they played last night. UK’s D will come out with a vengeance against UT.

Well, we haven’t won there since 1984, so I have never considered it an easy win. I definitely think it is a game that we should win because we are better in all phases.
The only way we lose is if we come in with a hangover like I have this morning and play down.
I hope the seniors and leaders get the team refocused on what can still be an historically good year.
11-2 with a NY6 bowl win is a hell of a step forward.

I cant predict us winning in Neyland stadium. No matter how bad they are and how good we are. Plus our offense has looked like trash for over a month now. Hope I am wrong, but this team fell apart when our coaches thought we could go 12-0 just running the ball up the middle every play in the first half of the USCjr game.

Do you usually post with an agenda or do you not pay attention to other teams you reference?
Just wondering.

Agenda?? I have no agenda, other than to get others thoughts on this matter. Up until yesterday, I felt like we easily win in Knoxville. After the shell shock, I'm nervous now. Wtf agenda are you making up in your head that I support? This outta be good??

Winning at UT isn’t easy. Hasn’t it been since 1984 since we won there? Thought I heard someone say that yesterday on news.

Good news is that our defense (usually) is good enough to keep us in nearly every game
Bad news is that our offense (usually) will keep our opponents in the game as well
We can and probably should beat Tennessee, but they have players, and definitely can beat us especially on their home field. Need the offense to improve (no surprise) and for the defense to really have a good game.

Here is my concern for UT game...our rushing attack has evaporated before our very eyes. I'm having a hard time believing this offensive unit will score 20 points on UT...and when you struggle to score so much it's hard to be very confident you can beat a team you are better than

I think it would be wise if we refrain from talking trash until after this one is over. All I’ll say about it.

it will be an interesting game. I think both of us are coming off of wake up calls. UK players may be over looking us bc of our record.

I could see this going just about any way possible. They win big, they win close, we win close. all of that makes sense to me as an option.

To me, our hope is for Karma (along the line of they have not won at Neyland in 33 years) and man for man athletes. I still think we have the athletes who can get it done (except the O-line). If the O-line can stop or slow down their defense in any way, we have a chance. Anything like last week and Kentucky will beat us by 3 scores.

Maybe these Vols have got at least one more Auburn-ish game in them. Do that (somehow-someway manage to pull this one out) and I see a vicious battle in Columbia, and then maybe Vandy falling to the Big Orange at the regular season's end. Now...more realistically: Does anybody see UT sweeping this trio of used-to-be patsies? Me either. Boy-oh-boy...that mystical "next year" feeling is upon us. GBO!

So UK fans are almost as dumb as our fans. They lose to a top 10 team and they think their offense is evaporating and trash? Only TN could say something like that. I would be willing to bet that UKs defense is licking its chops at the thought of playing our offense.

KY may be the only team we still have the big brother mentality over, especially in Neyland. But idk some of our players may be in awe playing on the same field as a future first round pick in snell

Their fans don’t have to be confident to get this win. If UK isn’t too beat up from the UGA game then they win in Neyland.

Maybe we were vanilla against Charlotte if you want some hope.

It’s not that their offense is suddenly now trash, it’s that it has been trash all season
