Me and the ;ittle lady are heading out tonite for Bristol for the races and I was wondering what time zone Bristol is in? It figures we FINALLY get Bristol nite tickets and a damn hurricane hits and will probably rain out the weekend. Nothing like a 10 hour drive for nothing probably...at least we'll be going through Knoxville!

It's certainly hot enough for some storms in this area. Maybe you will get lucky. As long as it doesn't constantly rain, you will be in good shape.

Local new's is reporting 30% scattered showers and T-storms in patches.
I wouldnt worry much about it. If it starts look for it to blow over.

Looks to me like it will be Tuesday before the remnants of Katrina get that far north.
