Here's the Tennessee weak spot Alabama football should target in Saturday's top-10 showdown

I say, "Bring it". This is not the Volunteer team of the last 15 years!

We will be heavily penalized in this game. Gonna have to fight the Elephants and asses. Both parties are against us in this one. I’m thinking 120 penalty yards vs 25

After having watched this match-up for nearly 40 years.....you've hit the nail on the head. It won't be that Alabama won't sustain any penalties. They will. However, they'll not be drive ending penalties or touchdown sacrificing penalties. UT? I expect a "hold" on a play by Small for 20 yards from scrimmage. I also expect an Alabama 3rd and 12 (which goes for nothing) to be converted due to a downfield holding call on UT. Do you see how this works? Alabama penalties - yes. Game changing penalties against Alabama - well it hasn't happened in 40 years.

It's no secret that were weaker against the pass. But to me the analysis has to go a bit deeper. We killed a very porous LSU OL. They were starting a few freshmen which is never good and lost one before the game and another in the first quarter. Bama on the other hand, has a pretty stout OL. So the writer really needs to look at the matchups involved with our DL vs their OL.

The matchup I'm most concerned in our OL against the Bama front. They don't allow teams to run the ball and get good penetration on the passer. I really think we must open with quick passes to negate their rush and set up the run for later in the half.

On the flip side...TN is the new big shiny thing. ALL the major sports talk shows will be there and everyone seems to be high on TN. Does the SEC really want the all the talk to be about the refs and possible game fixing. That probably won't get any movement but from a ratings stand point, TN winning is the better for the betting world and tv. Got to believe people are tired of Bama except for Bama folks.

We held up well against lsu and uf, who historically always have great fronts. Also Pitt who have been good up front for awhile. Obviously the past means nothing but I like our chances.

Why do they bother writing this crap, most of the fans can't read? Go ahead, advise the best coach in the country on how to handle the next team. LOL

I'm waaaay more worried about Milroe's legs than arm. He had 3 TDs but one was essentially a pop pass to the TE and another was an RPO slant. The yardage was created after the catch. If Young plays, different story.

No doubt the pass D hasn’t been good; however there’s a HUGE flaw in their logic.

They really looking at “one” stat and saying “you should do this” because of that one stat.

One single stat could be the result of many factors. One stat doesn’t always tell the “exact” story.

Tennessee is 128th in passing D…….as in yards given per game.

However Tennessee is 49th in passing yards given per attempt.

Tennessee is 39th in passing yards given per completion.

Those two stats really mean WAY more than “total passing yards given up.”

If every single team is passing the ball 45 times per game “because they have to”………..doesn’t necessarily mean that’s what “you” need to do in order to win………again unless your desperate and you HAVE to.

Glad the Gump that wrote this had his spell checker on so we could read complete sentences in this masterpiece.

I remember one of those sacks on Kitchens where I was wondering if Little had really killed him!
A player would be arrested for a hit like that now.
Fat Freddie was a tough dude, he got abused but hung tough like a dried booger.
I hate everything crimson but you have to admire that guy's ability to take an a** whoopin.
