These last couple of days have been amazing to experience. Since Saturday every time I've gone out I have had a least one person yell "GBO or Go Vols. I've had a few start conversations with me in line or while shopping and the unbridled joy over whipping the Gators is indescribable.

I will also say that in my 12 years of coming to Volnation I have NEVER seen this board as happy, optimistic, and upbeat as it's been since Sat. The collective mood here as been one big natural high.

I've been a ride or die Vol for nearly 30 years and I can say without any doubt that this is one of the biggest wins we've gotten in that time. It honestly feels like a giant weight has been lifted off of us. We finally got that mental edge back. We can once again walk with that Tennessee Swagger.

I don't know how the rest of the season is going to play out but one thing I do know is that we finally turned the corner Saturday. We are back and we are a team to be feared once again.

The Power T is Back Nation. Thank you CBJ for bringing us out of the wilderness. It's freaking GREAT to be a Tennessee Vol.

Here's hoping the team that showed up in the 2nd half shows up in all quarters in the rest of the games. That was so incredible. One of those times when I didn't want to leave my seat for fear of missing 1 moment of the action on the field.

Read internet articles and listened to Sirius college recap show in my 6 hour drive home. Made the trip seem like 2 hours. Nothing but Gator tears and Vol smiles.

I find all the upbeat optimism to be very boring. I've had to creep other message boards to get my dose of drama and negativity. Volnation used to fill all my needs. Sigh.

I think we faced ourselves in the mirror, then turned around and faced the nation and decided to tell everyone we mattered. That was the goal. Now it's on to the next goal. The next goal in my opinion is beat a top ten team and we are about to get the chance to beat two of them. That is my next focus. We have a very good opportunity to beat two top ten teams in three weeks.

Wanna meet at waffle house and "talk" about it, big fella?

...and by talk I mean eat and have a good time discussing the Vols?
I've had a hankerun for some smothered covered diced and chopped hash browns for a while now.

There's nothing to be negative about right now, at least until the first 3 and out against Georgia.

Kidding, haven't been this happy since 2004

I haven't been on the board long. I've read on here for a couple years. Probably the most positive post of yours I've seen. But regardless I can tell by the post youre enjoying the win. All of volnation needed it. We all want the Vols to do be dominant just all have different ways of expressing it. That's ok though. GBO

I haven't ever been this happy as a vol fan. I've only been one since middle school about 12 years ago.

That is indeed the key. For whatever reason, UT seems to start really slow in these games this year and then turn on the afterburners, at least as to Va Tech and UF.

You cannot do that all year long and get away with it, it will definitely catch up to you, and of course you cannot spot the likes of Alabama two or three touchdowns and expect to come back from that deficit against them.

Keep thinking that.
