What should the first play of the season be?

Vols on defense? Tackle for a loss.
Vols on offense? Explosive running play for more than 10 yards.

Honestly, for their first possession, I’d like to see the Vols move downfield and score, a crisp workmanlike drive for a touchdown.

Handoff up the middle or a WR screen if they’re feeling frisky. Which beats the Pruitt era of getting your QB destroyed before a whole second has ticked off the clock or the QB rifling a pass at a running back 3 yards in front of him that gets intercepted on play 2.

Opponents DC will think Aguilar cant throw long and will want to "stack the box" (The Vols have for years taken advantage of 5 or 6 fronts) so wing it downfield and that will affect defensive alignments for weeks.
