Well, the AF fans were in Sec A. maybe Z-15 and then the upper deck.

UT ticket office said the reason they moved them to the upper deck is our SEC foes do the same to us at their stadiums.

I like the way we split up the opposing fans. Gives us more of an advantage at home. :rock:

Post from another board:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++===

"There have been a few changes with seating this year. Due to the new club level, some students were moved from the top rows of DD-FF and into BB, I and J. Visitors were moved from Z11-Z14 and BB to the top rows of MM-QQ."
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

And here's a seat map but some guys say it's not TOTALLY accurate. Darker purple= visitors

Here

question, how many tickets are given to students for the game? I know there are what.....27k that go there? There are always some that don't go to the game...for reasons unknown to me. You would think Neyland is big enough to give a ticket to all the students...

There are 29k students, I'd say about 5k of that are grad students.

I think the student allotment for tickets is around 12k. Dunno for sure though. If someone has a factual statement about it, post. :)

That is pretty accurate but they do sit in section A too, but thats mostly the family members of the opposing teams. I sit in BB so I get to exchange "playful banter" with them :p .

Students only get a ticket for themselves, if there are extras they can put in to take one guest with them but you still have to buy that ticket. And for the Florida game its a lottery type deal.
