I am sitting here reading all the noise about CBJ and if he should return or not I have thought about something that i don't know if some have thought of.....

We are 8-4. A terrible recording considering that we were picked to go 10-2 with a chance at an SEC title. If I am a booster or someone with influence I couldn't get over this fact....

We were 2 plays....i repeat 2 plays that we happened to get so extremely lucky on from going 6-6. The fumble that Hurd jumped on and the hail mary JJ caught. Those plays could have and probably should have (statistically) gone the other way. Change those 2 plays and we are 6-6. Are you kidding me 6-6 with all the talent we have. This is unacceptable by any standards. We aren't getting better guys and with our class coming in we have no guys that can contribute day 1. We are in a downward spiral and this could get out of control fast. We are loosing good players and i'm afraid next year is gonna be bad.

I wanted CBJ to succeed but he isnt the one for UT. Where do we go, i have no clue. But we need to stop the bleeding before its to late.

We were three (3) plays from being 11 - 1. bUtch kicks a field goal against USC when we are on 4th down. He elected to go for it on 4th down and Dobbs was sacked for a 15 yard loss. We ended up with NO points from that drive and ended up losing by a few points.

(2) Kamara fumbles against A & M at the 5 yd. line. Dobbs is a few feet from the fumble. He could have jumped on it or even picked it up and ran it in. We win and there is no overtime.

(3) Dobbs does not fumble the ball against Vandy. Thus Vandy does not get the resulting t.d.

Two plays kept us from 6 -6 and 3 plays kept us from 11 - 1. Pesimistic or Optimistic?????

This is just a glass half-empty argument. I could just as easily make a case that, with the injuries we had, we should have lost 2 or 3 more games. And it was a great coaching job that kept us from losing more.

How many interception or fumbles did Dobbs have? In games where we couldn't afford them? I like the guy but come on fam...... take away 10 turnovers (fumbles included) we are 11-1 getting ready for ATL.

Bama loss was fine, expected.

Tamu loss stung, but it was a great game.

Scar was unacceptable, especially coming off a bye.

Vandy won by 10+, that was the final nail in the coffin for many of us.

Seriously....all I am hearing are the same excuses we heard when Dooley was here.

"It's the players not executing....it's not the coaches fault....they aren't the ones on the field making plays."

Is this guy a damn sight better than Dooley....no question....none. Tthis guy is light years ahead of Dooley.......but that doesn't mean he's good enough.

Being better than Dooley is like being the wealthiest guy in the trailer park........."it ain't nothing worth bragging about."
