Typical Klassy uga fans. Klassy with a K.

Trash program. The whinniest, neediest, most annoying fanbase in all of sports.

But, for some of y'all on here, there is a constant need to 'admire' them and compliment the 'program'.

Go ahead, but they despise us. And no amount of sucking up is going to change that.

For me, I just despise them right back.

No traditions, no heritage, cookie-cutter stadium, boring colors, mascot shared with 1/2 the high schools in America.

Helmet copied from the Green Bay Packers.

What is the uga fight song? Exactly. No one knows. No one cares.

Their "distinguishing characteristics?" Someone went to Home Depot and bought some ridiculous bushes for the stadium and their athletic building is named after a skid mark. So.....yay?

To be fair, I was in Athens last year and the stadium was beautiful. It felt small-town versus some of these mega stadiums that I have entered but yet was a mega stadium. For example, I could go out even with the field and shake players hands, walked by both bands/cheerleaders, etc.

I absolutely agree with this. It’s just too much money for the average person, especially if they don’t live near Knoxville and have to add in hotel, fuel, food for a family for 24hrs exc….. It adds up for the average person not to mention a whole family. I mean it’s capitalism and a result of supply and demand and all that, but it sucks for many die hard Vol fans! Same thing is happening in Athens!
I find the UT alliance with Ticketmaster infuriating. I used to get tickets from scalpers on the street at better prices. Someone ask on this board a few months ago if you could still buy tickets from scalpers. My response was yes you could. The scalpers are UT Athletics and Ticketmaster. I live in GA and I spent about $!200.00 on tickets, hotel, food and gasoline for this game. I don't plan on going back to Knoxville this year. I waited to get in the gate in front of the stadium with my wife for about an hour. I have the money to go to any game when I want too. i am done this year unless it is a playoff game. Money is ruling everything now. UT does not care about the every day fan. Money is ruining college athletics. I will stay at home where I can watch multiple games in the future. I am refusing to pay a ransom for tickets in the future.

I don't get hostile with their dumbass fans. After this weekend, I just shrug them off and remind them that they were saved by Clint Stoerner's spirit animal. Basically a miracle bailed them out , even with Heupel's blunders.

I've been there. It's a bland, boring stadium with some bushes. It's not a dump, it's just utterly bland and forgettable. Like everything else with that trash program, it isn't original, unique, or in the least bit interesting.

I'm ready to move on. The one good thing about Saturday is we didn't have to listen to a mush-mouth sports announcer talk about smashing facial bones with a boot. Klassy!!

Thankfully, Dobbs' Hail Mary a few years back seems to have ended the ridiculous repeat of that disturbing rant by Munson before every UT-uga game.

I think it’s too early to say either of these things. UT and UGA are good . . . But I suspect Bama is not as bad as they looked against FSU (FSU played a flawless game).

I will say Texas does not impress me. By the games so far, I think:

1. LSU
2. UGA or TAMU
3 UT or BAMA or Oklahoma
4. Ole Miss or Texas

And I see little that separates any of these teams. If we don’t get our DTs back . . . And one of our starting corners, we will drop 2-3 more games.
I’m not super impressed with LSU so far. TAMU beat ND but still not sure how good they are. TBH I think we need a few more weeks to get a better feel for how good ALL of the SEC teams really are.

I agree 100%. It’s still early, 2 or 3 more games will likely afford us a much better idea of where we all stand.

It’s also not lost on me that you guys had serious issues with injuries on your defense. Not making excuses, that’s football, but it certainly impacted the game.

Many differing opinions on how this game went and why. Either way, I can confidently say that it was one hell of a game!!!

This loss hurts and it sucks listening to their fans gloat and having a 9 game losing streak over our heads. But, I wouldn't be so sure we end up ultimately being the better football team at the end of the season when we get healthy.

I don't think Georgia's style of offense is sustainable to have that level of success the whole year. They were able to catch us off guard a little becuase they had not played a meaningful game yet and were hiding their offense approach. DCs will be able to understand their blueprint better now. Georgia was also able to take advantage of our freshman cb for alot of their deeper throws. Gunnar also played really well and will likely come back to earth. All in all, everything came together for Georgia against us, but all the stars have to align for it to work. I just don't see that happening at a sustained level against top competition..

On the other hand, our offense exploded and Joey was able to threaten through the air when Georgia held our rushing attack in check. We are well balanced and dangerous everywhere. Once we get healthier on defense, I'm not sure we let anyone else, except maybe Oklahoma, throw against us like Georgia did. We still have room to ascend.
