Make Brown beat us with his arm. If we can set the edge we’ll win. That is if the o-line plays like their heads aren’t up their ass

I’m impressed by the defense, as I was impressed by Auburn’s 2025 defense. It may not be enough to win games. We have to figure out what works for this offense and I don’t see those answers right now.

“Woodyball” (See Vanderbilt) didn’t work all that well and the SEC wasn’t nearly as stout back in the 90’s.

I don't always agree with your takes but you clearly have a deep knowledge on the history in the SEC. Most only come back with 2 bit jokes to rebutt you.

They must not watch us much if they think we play press coverage or would ever dominate time of possession. That one is right about things getting tight real fast if we fall behind by a couple scores.
Tim Banks is no longer our DC and we almost certainly will win TOP this week. In fact we've been much more even on TOP this year (and the last few really) as compared to 2021 and 2022. Frankly, you seem like the one who hasn't watched much.

Is being even considered “dominating” time of possession? Maybe you define words in your own way. We also have still been playing off WRs a ton. It’s working fine so no complaints but how often are we up on WRs at the LOS? Are you sure you’re watching? If so, you must be watching Texas instead of Tennessee.

I’ve always had a great long term memory, but I struggle to see the greater picture often.

Auburn runs our 2022 offense. We will "dominate" top this game. Watch.

Both teams want to do the exact same thing: spread the field with massive, wide splits, run lightning-fast tempo, and throw deep choice routes.

Well I know one idiot who's going to be shocked this Saturday.

I swear, this "wide splits fast tempo" thing still keeps getting passed around. Even the Youtube channels do it. Hell, Crain and Cone were still saying it this year about Tennessee all the way to the Georgia Tech game. Easiest way in the world to tell that they aren't watching a damn bit of UT's games.
Yeah I’m so tired of that. But then again it’s a tell that someone is full of it.

This was a conflicted time for me. I wanted Widenhofer to do well because I grew up watching the Steelers and Browns play “first team to score twice wins” sorts of slugfests. And had family in Pittsburgh and got to go to Three Rivers. But also: Vandy. So no.

Expect a close game saturday, hoping for a blowout but i know how our team is under Heupel we haven’t put a beatdown on anybody with a pulse in awhile and we have lost the Neyland mojo we had under Heupel teams aren’t scared anymore.

Stop the run
Jam the receivers at the line to disrupt timing
Get to the QB however/as fast as possible
Contain/spy the QB if he runs

Same thing UGA/Muschamp have done to us over the years.

Only thing that makes me nervous is will there be a letdown after the Texas game? If there is, this game will be closer than it should be. If they are 100% focused, we should win by double digits. Unfortunately, we've all seen letdowns either cost or almost cost teams a win.

Auburn's offense only accounted for 270 yards against Vandy's defense at home and were completley destroyed in time of possession. This against the same Vandy teams that let NC State put up almost 450 yards.
