Well in short the message board material regarding this game will come as no surprise. As a fan base their mind is on the LSU game, and Saturday's matchup will be little more than another walk in the park.
The occasional poster will chime in with reasons they should be cautious about Saturday, but that usually gets drowned out by a combination of how great they are and how terrible we are.
Here is what the Rowwww Tahhhdd faithful are saying about Saturday's matchup in Tuscaloosa:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
-The first thread I saw about us said we should be 5-1 or 6-0. It turned into a debate about how badly they will beat us, but regardless several posters are saying not to overlook us.
-They simply think we don't have the depth, and even if we keep it close they will kill us in the 4th quarter.
-There were several comments about how they shut down A&M's offense, and how ours doesn't hold a candle to A&M's. The poster below was quite rational, and is likely one of 8 intelligent, successful people in the state:
-They think Dobbs is good but they think he is going to get annihilated by their front 7, and he better be ready to take some hits.
-There is a thread of Bama fans talking about their current interactions with UT fans. About 90% of them are saying its nothing but a bunch of "We're gonna get killed" and "I just hope we keep it close" out of UT fans.
-Several posters repeat the same thing, basically if they can get Dobbs to throw a couple of picks he will be out of the game mentally and it will be smooth sailing for them.
-The number one reason they are going to win, according to their boards, is because they "always roll UT"
-This is encouraging:
-They constantly refer to us as "10RC", can someone help me understand this? Because I don't get it.
-I've also seen "NeyLOLand" thrown around a few times.
-General score predictions have them winning by roughly 14-21, with us scoring no more than 14 points.
-There is certainly a good deal of respect for Hurd. The fact that he missed practice was all over their boards.
-Apparently they are using linebacker Jamey Mosley, brother of CJ Mosley, to simulate Dobbs in their Tennessee-prep scrimmages

-I don't know what this guy is referring to:
-I thought Vandy fans were the only ones that called us the "Viles" but that's all over their boards.
-They frequently refer to Kamara as "the traitor."
-On a more serious note regarding Kamara, I saw a good bit of discussion regarding the Tenpenny situation, and several Bama fans were showing class and sympathy about how hard Alvin is likely taking it.
This is a winnable game, but it's going to take perfect execution. Hopefully their players are overlooking us as much as their fans are.

Fact of the matter is, if you look up the offensive stats of the viles and aTm, they are basically just as dynamic as one another. They just do it differently. Our run defense is even stronger than our pass defense, so you would think we would have an easier time maybe with ut, but their style with a good running QB who has passing ability makes them potentially more dangerous than aTm.
Just comparing them to aTm....both offensive and defensive stats are similar. Defensively, ut is better at stopping the run than the pass, but like aTm; still not very good. Still, defensively; they are comparable to aTm and have a stronger strength of schedule.
Now, I'm comparing them to a team we just handled on the road and was only somewhat in the game cause of our own mistakes. When I look at everything, I just think that ut is good enough and we potentially could be vulnerable enough to allow this to be a dog fight if we don't watch out. As much as we have improved, we still aren't playing clean football. Maybe we will on Saturaday, but as much as we have the potential to blow the viles out (hope so), they have the potential to make this a game. I love to pump sunshine for my Tide, but I have just enough realism to know we could be in for a battle Saturday. I love to win by 50, but a win by 1 counts just the same.

194 lost yards on 54 tackles for loss which is 7.71 per game. Arkansas leads the SEC with only 21 allowed for 71 yards lost. That has got to be fixed somehow. This has also got to be a big reason we are dead last in the SEC on 3rd down conversions at 32% which is 116th in the country. Fix the tfl problem and the 3rd down conversion rate will get better.

I see on Volnation, they're attacking our QB's zits. That's what I said "zits." The day I see a Bama fan attack another team's QB's complexion, I think I would just commit seppu-ku. I hope they build their defense around his zits. OTOH, TAMU tried to tear his face off and got away with it, so maybe it's not just UT madness after all...
