I've gone back & forth. Both teams have reason to want revenge over us, but Bama's little pea pickin' heartbreak loss in Knoxville was pretty recent, so they may be more motivated. I almost want Florida. That said, if Bama breaks away and wins big today, I'd take them because I think they'd be feeling their juices a little too much vulnerable the letdown game.

I think tomorrow's game is all about pace. regardless of opponent

Having said that, I think Florida can win playing at Tennessee's pace. I don't think Alabama can win playing a Tennessee style game.

I think this is probably the best call if the wish is to maximize our chances for a 1 Seed. Probably the best scenario then would be a Florida win in 6 overtimes.

Debating in this thread is pretty much moot now....Florida running away with it without Nelson for Alabama being out there.

Generally I'll say I like meeting a team after they get a big blowout win because they may be vulnerable to overconfidence. I feel fine about it. Last time we held them to 44 points.

We beat Florida by 30 in Knoxville. I would take any margin over them in Nashville.

I would look at points per possession as different teams play at different speeds. Alabama scored 82 against Florida today and if you saw the game, Florida's defense was pretty formidable.

Yes. Florida has the whole package. Vols lack 1 dynamic offensive player to be elite.

Vols are elite. They're physical. They have a superior defensive big, wing and pg. They play together as a team. They hit free throws.

They have the occasional scoring drought, but most teams do. Houston does.

When they hunker down and defend, there are not many squads that can handle it.

I’d was pulling for Bama just because I think they are the weaker of the two…when Florida is rolling they are as good as anyone in the country. Bama’s offense can be elite but they just don’t play the same level of defense as Auburn, Florida or Tennessee.

Nope I think they have a one seed. To many quad 1 wins and lots of wins over the top 25.
