What kind of statement would it make

It would say that despite losing all the close games, this team never quit on coach Dooley.

I would be proud of them, Dooley included.

I see your point, however I feel that "having never quit" is not the standard that we should use to measure success. It's the very minimum of expectations when they put on the T. We do not pay Coach Dooley $2M a year to make sure his team just doesn't quit in their numerous losses.

And frankly, I'm not convinced that they didn't take the 3rd quarter of the Florida game off, IMO.

I could care less what we do these last 4 games! You don't come to Tennessee to stomp weak teams. And quite frankly I think we win only 3 of our last 4.

Of course you will. My advice for you is get ready for a goodbye hug from your hero. His losing a$$ will be gone.

Anybody can beat cupcakes. Good teams beat good teams. Period.

The fact that even a small portion of our fanbase thinks that running up the score on cupcakes and the dregs of the SEC is something to brag about and take pride in shows how low this program has sunk. It's bad enough to be kicked down to the SEC cellar, but why justify languishing there?

Absolutely! And this whole line of thought presumes we will beat all four of the cupcake teams...I think we will have trouble along the way in November.

If a decision is to be made of keeping or firing our coach based upon winning the next four games against these crappy teams, we're in big, big TROUBLE!
