It would say that despite losing all the close games, this team never quit on coach Dooley.
I would be proud of them, Dooley included.
I see your point, however I feel that "having never quit" is not the standard that we should use to measure success. It's the very minimum of expectations when they put on the T. We do not pay Coach Dooley $2M a year to make sure his team just doesn't quit in their numerous losses.
And frankly, I'm not convinced that they didn't take the 3rd quarter of the Florida game off, IMO.
