Georgia has been recruiting lights out and Saban has to retire at some point. We've got some considerable work to do if we want to win the East. Georgia will take a small step back next year but still should be the class of the East.

No. GRADUATION makes them “less bad ass”. Equal or better talent coming in but it won’t be seasoned. Kirby has to make the next step of adjusting and developing EVERY SEASON. Every year it seems Bama signs 5 star corners and every year it seems they start a true freshman or (like this season) an outlier like Levi Wallace...a non-rated HS player who walked on and plugged away. Fulmer, on paper, should have never had a 5 win season...much less 2 out of his last 4. Highly rated recruiting classes with little chemistry did him in. It’s a nice problem for sure but Kirby has to get these different sets of athletes with different personalities and work ethics to gel...and do it every subsequent season. THEN he has a Saban level monster.

Bama as well with a freshman QB, RB, and three WRs that all seem to be the real deal. Bama has never had a really fantastic QB to date. Tua looks like the real deal. Big, mobile with a huge arm. This maybe the pieces of the best offensive team Saban has had in his time there.

All of that said I think Tennessee is on the right track but we've got some work to do to get back to the top.
