Alabama: Bama is for real, they shut down Arkansas on all levels and I can't wait to watch them play LSU.

LSU: once again, they're also forreal, as we've know since week one. Whoever wins they're game against bama will most likely win the SEC.

Ole Miss: Ole Miss is just downright sad to watch. They made Vandy look a championship team last week and made UGA (specifically A. Murray) look incredible at QB. I never thought I'd see a Houston Nutt team this bad.

Miss State: I'm very disappointed in how they've been playing thus far. I thought Chris Relf would lead Miss st to another solid year but at this point its not looking like it, at all. They'll only win one SEC west game, and that will be against Ole Miss.

Arkansas: Arky will struggle throughout the rest of the year and I think UT has a legitimate shot at beating them. IMO Wilson was overrated to start off this season and losing Knile Davis certaintly didn't help.

Auburn: I don't think Auburns that bad, really. I was shocked to see them lose to Clemson but as we saw tonight Clemson is pretty damn good. Auburn is young like we are and will probably finish with 6 wins.

Kentucky: is just plain bad, bad, bad. I thought Morgan Newton would be ok as a QB but I guess not. I feel bad for Tee Martin though and doubt the wildcats will win 4 games this year.

Vandy: like I stated earlier, Ole Miss made Vandy look really good last week. As I expected, Scar made them look like Vanderbilt. Vandy simply doenst have an offense. Defense looked decent but then again Garcia was probably drunk.

Georgia: Aaron Murrays a good QB but he doesn't have anyone around him. I knew Georgia would struggle this year and despite their route of Ole Miss today I still think Richt will be gone at seasons end.

Florida: after watching them demolish kentucky in lexington tonight I feel better about our 10 point loss last week. Florida has exceeded my expectations and i look forward to watching them play Scar.

South Carolina: South Carolina would be great if they had someone like Aaron Murray as their QB. Garcia is a joke imo. Lattimore and Jeffrey are two great players and the rest of the team is solid. Depending on how the Qb situation turns out they could finally get a 10 win season.

These are my thoughts guys. Hope yall aren't too harsh if you disagree. I feel Tennessee has a legitimate shot at beating UGA, ArK, and Scar. While undoubtably beating Buffalo, Vandy, Uk, and MTSU. I expect at least a 7-5 season but would not be shocked if we finish as high as 9-3. Have a great week and GO VOLS

Good analysis. I thnk we have a shot against Georgia and usclite just as long as Mr.Chaney stops trying to run the reverse to the SHORT SIDE of the field. That is all.

haha me too. i always run stretch plays with CJ on the long side of the field. Works 90% of the time. everyime.
Good play...i also like the fullback fake, halfback toss. Especially after gauging their secondary for three straight 15 yard throws.

I think Nutt is about to spontaneously combust. That seat is getting plenty hot.

I will sometimes switch off the running back and play as the full back on toss or sweeps to the outside...throw a couple of awesome blocks and watch him go bye bye!

The SEC is 2 elite teams, one pretty good team, 6 average teams, one bad team, and two terrible teams.

The SEC is the two best teams in the nation. two top 25 teams (one arguably top 15), 6 average teams. one school for the blind and one middle school built for those make a wish foundation kids wanting to be part of something special.

Arky, SC, UGA, MSU appear to be flukes, and LSU is a lot better than people thought they would be. I don't mean to be "that guy", but so far my prediction of these guys, with the exception of LSU, has been pretty good. PM me if you need my address to send me a cookie..... preferably chocolate chip.

Agree on Florida-their demise was wildly overstated. I think they are playing like the team a lot of us feared they would become-great/fast defense, and a smooth offense thanks to Weis. They had one mediocore season by their standards, and all of the sudden ESPN forgot to notice that they were still hauling in top 10 classes stacked on top of each other. Their game against LSU will be interesting-still think LSU wins though.

LSU has scary speed. As the OP pointed out, the Alabama/LSU game is something to look forward to.

Alabama and LSU are semi pro teams is what i learned. They've seperated themselves from the rest of the SEC and the nation for that matter.

yeah im not ready to crown LSU i think they are great too, but wasn't it this time last year that Les Miles was on the hot seat. I have a bunch of friends in NOLA who wanted him gone. i want to see this team maintain this they seemed to be easily distracted.
Also much has been mage of that schedule but when you look at it, it may not be that impressive
Oregon - hands down good win
Miss St - is 2-2 had to go to OT last night to beat La Tech
WVU - i have seen them twice and really was not impressed, not sure if they play each other, but I think Cincy will beat them

Based on this weekend alone, and watching UGA, USC and ARK play, I think you are pretty much spot on. I didn't see any team other than Bama or LSU that we shouldn't be able to beat and pull off 9-3. Again, basing that on what I saw just this weekend.

Arkansas is going to be hard to beat on the road. They got overwhelmed yesterday, but they match up just fine with our talent.
