All the negativity is doing nothing good for this University. All the garbage on VN is hurting what Dooley and Hart are tring to put together. I'm sure they are working long hours talking to recruits and coaches that we need to keep this program going in the right direction. The negativity on here is surley slowing down the process that Dooley and Hart are working so hard to achieve. Why can't we be patient a couple weeks and let these guys do the job they are paid to do. Stop the negative post and get behind our guys. The attitude on VN does not deserve a big name DC. No wonder Dooley and Hart are having such a hard time . If we could get behind our guys we might help bring in the quality coaches we all wont. The fan base is a big part of a University. What is being said on here is not helping. Can we think positive and be patient? Give our guys a chance to find the right people for the job. That is all I will say. Im going to wait and see what our guys put together and support them.

I think it's hilarious that now anonymous posters on a message board are hurting what Dooley and Hart are doing. It's not that Dooley has a losing record and is on the hot seat, it's because of someone on the internet.

I know if I were a top DC the 1st thing I would do before signing a 3 year deal at Tennessee for a million a year would be to check out what fans on VN were saying. If they doubt the program, obviously it would be a bad decision to sign the deal. :eek:lol:

Instead of being worried about whats being posted on VN ,shouldnt you be trying to find Tn a DC?

that may be, but he raises a valid point. recruits and their parents read sites like this and see all the instability within the fan-base. that negativity reflects on the program.

It may not be an issue at all. We don't know.

But if it truly is an issue, then the fault doesn't lie with a message board, Junior and LuLu, or David Keith doing his Elvis impersonation with the Tennessee band in 1989. The fault, if fault exists at all, rests squarely on the shoulders of the man who runs this football program.

Or youse people, y'all people, or just plain ole youins for the rest. Dang, I had no idea we had so much power to affect the team. WE HAVE THE POWER (deep voice)!!! If I had known that I would have laid out a better game plan for UK. I love, absolutely love, that we lost to them the way we did along with doing something the program hasn't done in over 100 years.

Get real. Admitting your addicted is half the cure.

I apologize for the Kentucky loss. It was my unrealistic expectations that sent the squad into the fetal position. I am truly sorry.

The instability within the coaching staff is more damaging than the POV of the fans.

This is such a myopic view point. Some people on this board give themselves and us WAY too much credit. This board represents probably 1/50th of the entire fanbase, if even that.

I too believe our fan base is part of UT's PR problem. We're being perceived as a bunch of nitwit retards. No one wants to join such vitriol group as vol fans have been. I know it's frustrating but we are doing more damage than good with the careless talk. It's destroying our brand. Flame away.
