Ugh.

Every other car on my commute on 65 North in the mornings is nothing but Bama tags and stickers on every other freaking car that passes.

Then I'm in Cool Springs Mall and a college age girl is walking thru with a Bama shirt on and one of the Sales guys working there hollers out Roll Tide from across the floor and she yells it back.

In the capitol city of Tennessee we have people yelling Roll Tide.

Makes me want to vomit.

Before the National Championship game when they played Texas, Sports Seasons was running ads that they were staying open late if Bama won so everyone could come get their Bama NC gear.

The heck with all them! They prob just bought the crap because Bama's on top right now. When Bama starts having down years again they'll find a new team. I just hope they're not wearing the Big Orange in a couple years when we're on top cause I got no use for that type of fan!

I'm sick of it too. I live in Chattanooga and they are dug in here like ticks! My local Wal Mart carries as much 'Bama merch as they do Tennessee. I can't stand band wagon gomers like that who live here, eating our food, breathing our air, and pulling for those goat humpers!

Bandwagoners. They mysteriously disappeared in the 90's. Then miraculously reappeared a few years ago.

Nothing better than going to Cool Springs and seeing at least a dozen kids running around in Bammer flat-bills. Makes me so mad that that is the cool thing to do now is be a bandwagon bama fan.

Well they just also come out of the woodwork when Bama is winning. Remember how nice and quiet it was prior to Saban? :)

Actually I kind of empathize with them. If you are from Bama, wouldn't you want to move to a nicer state too?

I absolutely love living in Chattanooga, but your point is spot on. If you added up all of the UGA or Bubba fans in Chatt, they would make up a majority of the population by a long shot.

Actually Bama fans are the minority in the Brentwood area compared to Auburn fans.

Nashville is a melting pot of fans really. There really isnt much difference in the drive from this area to Bama or Auburn versus Knoxville.

Nashville itself its hard to gauge, North of town is pretty much pro UT as well as East and I believe West.

I actually noticed something else over the weekend. I was in Smyrna shopping and saw numerous gator fans in stores and on the road. Does anyone live there that knows what I am talking about? It was really weird.

It's pretty much the same here in Chattanooga. Being so close to the GA and AL borders doesn't help. I love Chattanooga but sometimes I feel much more at "home" in Knoxville around all my Vol bretheren.

My roommate, a 51 year-old Auburn alum and lifetime die hard War Eagle summed it up best when talking about he bammers:
"The state of alabama is made up of 80% bama fans and 20% Auburn fans. But you know what, I like our 20.... (long pause) and they can HAVE their 80!!"

I am a diehard UT fan and personally I am happy they all wear crimson. The quality of he TN fans makes us great, not the numbers! GBO! VFL

I am just the opposite of most of you, as I am Big Orange through and through, but I live near Orlando (behind enemy lines). There are a pretty good number of UT fans down here. It ain't easy living amongst the gators, but someone's got to be a Big Orange missionary!

I live in Nashville and i will never get used to it but Nashville really draws alot of SEC alums for work. True many of these "fans" have come out of the woodwork with their recent success.Bama,Auburn,Florida, these are the mouthbreathing fans that should punched in the throat.

Most Nashville fans are the gay "SEC" fan. In the mid to late 1990s they were UT fans. But when Auburn is good they switch. When Bama is good they cheer there. A lot of kids from middle TN go to school at Auburn because I think they don't charge them an out of state tuition and it's cheaper. They don't count though because they actually go to Auburn. I hate douche bag middle TN football fans, they are the worst, hands down. Loyal to none, biggest bandwagon fans on the earth. Makes it even worse when their talking heads and spokes men consist of George Plaster and the entire Nashville sports radio crews.

Those people in Nashville should be for Vanderbilt, right? How dare the people cheer for a school that is not in their immediate city. The Chattanooga folk should be for UTC. What is it with these people?

Yeah Florida is another one. Especially in the Spurrier years, they were no where to be found until Urban Cowboy got there. In the Crieve Hall and Green Hills and Brentwood areas, LSU flags were flying proudly in front yards. That was from about 2002 - 2008, until Bama got good again. There is no way that many LSU alumni live in Crieve Hall, no way!!!!!!!!!!
