What is up with the Athlon's SEC Football Magazine?

I was recently in a middle TN Kroger. For the first time ever, I saw the Gators on the cover of the Athlon's magazine, not UT and Vandy. Why is UT not on the cover? Did the Kroger I visited run out of the ones with UT on the cover? :no:

Kroger may not get the regional covers, I got the cover with Eric Berry and a Vandy player on it. The other magazines that I have, have him on the cover as well

It is funny you mention Maple Street. I ordered it for my brother for his birthday. They sent two copies. So, I got a free one! =)

I took the magazine to the UT Sports Banquet in Nashville. Kiffin said before signing, " I have never seen this magazine ". I may have came across arrogant, LOL. Because my reply was, " Well, now you have" !

By the way, I just picked up Sports Illustrated with Kiffin on the cover from Walmart today. I may not get a Athlon this year. I do like Maple Street.

Its all about COLD HARD CASH. Athlon although based in Nashville is about their own financial interests and not so concerned about supporting the home team.
