These recruits are probably believing the hype that Franklin is giving them. We will win! I will make us a winner! Don't you want to be a part of something special, when we turn this around?
This will/may work for a season or two but when people still see Vandy falling on their face against Ole Miss, Ky, Wake Forest, Central Michigan etc. then the hype will be gone.
Nothing to worry about on a longer term basis!

Yes you do have a problem pulling TN players just not to Vandy. Bama has signed several of TN's top players over the years. AU always signs several players from Brentwood/Brentwood Academy, can't remember which it is. Ole Miss usually gets a player or 2 from the Memphis area. TN doesn't have many top 250 recruits and at least have of them have played out of state. Dooley does need to change that.

Just like we get players from GA, AL, FL, etc. In general, the players that Dooley has rumored to have wanted from TN he has signed.

Auburn has pulled several from Brentwood Academy. I would rather see local guys go to Vandy instead of Auburn, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Alabama. It could make the TN/Vandy rival turn into something one day.

I may be wrong but I think alot of the kids at Brentwood Academy are from places other than TN, so its not like they grew up watching the Vols.

Well, that is the case all over middle TN. Nashville and the suburbs are mostly inhabited by people from all over the US. I agree that is a problem. They grow up in this area being fans of the parents childhood favorite teams like Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, Alabama and so on. That is something that needs to be worked on and soon. A lot of talent coming up in the middle TN area with the population boom.

You do realize Dooley helped recruit Nick Saban's LSU teams, right? One of those won a National Title. I think he knows a thing or two about recruiting.

My daughter attends BA and my son will be there when he's ready for sixth grade. There is a good mix and lots of people that have moved here from other places for the schools and careers, etc. That is true for Williamson County in general and those folks tend to be college grads I agree that they bring their allegiances with them.

We are under NCAA investigation people. In a time of crackdown so what are you expecting in June? Keeping in mind we are under investigation for Kiffin's tactics whom you seem to use as a measuring stick and whose top recruits are mostly gone.

I will respond to posts that make sense and are grammatically correct which your's is not. That would be you're not your, surely you didn't graduate from my alma mater. By the way Dooley's recruiting ability IS suspect.
