Chism missed most of his free throws and why the heck is he shooting 3s? He's been doing it all year and i think he needs to stop. :banghead2:

I did hear Chism was thinking about giving up basketball to be a first baseman...

Actually, if you read and I think most people know, Bruce gives all his players the green light on the threes, kinda the live by the three-die by the three philosophy. The game was turned into a outside shot for us, simply because we were getting killed by the shot blocking of Miss. St. if we went inside. The three was there and if you remember Tyler started knocking down some of these threes and that forced the Bulldog defense out from under the basket. If it works, you are a genius, if it fails you are a zero. Give the Bruce some credit, he knows when to shorten the reins and when to give then their head!

I have just accepted the fact that Chism is going to shoot 3's early after the tip and early after halftime and then once when he does not need to late in the game. I don't have a problem with the shot, just the fact that he takes it wihout any UT players in a rebound position.

against MSU he was 2-4 from 3pt. That was actually a better % than from the FT line.

As I have stated before, Chim's quickness and ball handling skills make him a great shooting point guard! Sort of like Lofton only completely different. :crazy:

The lane does clear but there is not any UT guys cutting towards the lane for either a pass or to rebound the shot. If fans can sense the shot coming from the rafters and on TV, I would think that the players on the court would sense the same and crash the boards when the big guy is jacking a 3 from the land of Lofton.

His headband isn't on tight enough so he thinks he can do whatever he wants and play 2 guard.

If that happens on the 23rd, then it'll be a long day for those wearing blue- because the only time you can go 1-17 and still win is when you play in the CUSA.

Wow I can't wait to see this board after another loss. We are winning and a lot on this board are complaining about Chism's threes and Pearl's son playing. Whinners. Some of Vol nation has turned into Coaches. No matter what this team does you will have a group that complains. That's BS. It is a Catch 22.
