Pretty friggin impressive. They showing re-runs of the blindside and stuffing the popcorn barrels w/$100s?

From espn:

...Unfortunately, Foster's bizarre saga hasn't been the only drama in a mad college football recruiting cycle. Laremy Tunsil of Columbia High School in Lake City, Fla., who is ranked the No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 5 prospect overall in the ESPN150, is one of the biggest stories heading into national signing day. Tunsil, once considered a lock for Georgia, now intends to sign with Ole Miss, according to various reports.

Tunsil's change of heart last week caused the social media world to go abuzz, with many people on Twitter and Facebook accusing the Rebels of cutting corners to land what might be one of the country's best recruiting classes. Along with Tunsil, Ole Miss has secured verbal commitments from Laquon Treadwell (Crete, Ill.), the No. 1 wide receiver, and Elijah Daniel (Avon, Ind.), the No. 4 defensive end, and could likely land Robert Nkemdiche (Grayson, Ga.), the country's No. 1 overall prospect, on Wednesday.

The Rebels also remain in the hunt for Chris Jones of Houston, Miss., the No. 6 defensive end in the country. Jones, who previously committed to Mississippi State, was forced to take secret visits to the Ole Miss campus the past two weekends after reportedly receiving death threats from fans.

On Friday, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze defended his program's recruiting efforts, writing on Twitter: "If you have facts about a violation, send it to compliance@olemiss.edu. If not, please do not slander these young men or insult their family."

I saw on the UGA message board that someone had reported Ole Miss as they had agreed to provide Tunsil's GF a scholarship to Ole Miss to secure his signature. Sounds kind of similar to the L. Collins Bama GF package deal.

I'm pretty sure the lequan treadwell pic off twitter solidifies that. Sorry stacks don't just come from nowhere. And how they have possibly 4 running backs and Alabama with 3 is beyond me considering we can't land one. Hopefully that changes tomorrow. And yes I know we landed jabo. But he has to put on some size to be every down in this league. Ask devrin

The only way to effectively stop this kind of behavior is strong penalties. If a school can be found guilty without any reasonable doubt of these types of activities a harsh, and swift penalty will slow it to a stop. Here is an example: a violation would result in no post season games or TV games for the four years that the recruit would have been eligible to play, reduce scholarship by four each year for those four years and cut the schools share of league payout by 25% for the same four years.

By the time the NCAA does an investigation they will have already been gone.

So does this mean if Butch lands a top 5 class next year that UT was cheating? Why does everybody jump the gun and accuse coaches of cheating when they are actually doing a good job? Just give the guy credit for doing his job and doing it well. This fan base is becoming just as bad as the "bammers" about this crap.
GBO!

Look at where most of Ole Miss' commitments come from. They don't have to go far to sign a good class. The surprise is that they're fending off LSU and Bama for some great prospects.

There was a time when UT landed several players from Mississippi that both SEC schools wanted. (Current RB Neal being one)

Those days are tougher to come by in this ever improving conference.
