Better re-check your weights on Fowlkes and Sykes. Quite a bit heavier now.

I envision some SEC defensive linemen teaching them some very ugly lessons.

Young players take their lumps, learn those lessons and grow from there. That's what experience is. I did acknowledge there will be some bad moments, some qb sacks even, as there are some of those every season. I point out there will also be some success from these young linemen; are you contending there will be none?

You ought not focus too much on their youth; they are big athletic guys and will quickly get some experience the hard way, gettin thrown in the fire. Remember Douglas was just a redshirt freshman last year but he had a pretty good season; why assume that Jawaun James and Schofield and Dallas Thomas are going to be worse than him? Don't be surprised by some early false starts and holding calls, but I envision some pancakes too and not the eatin kind.

Atheletic. Yes. But that "experience the hard way" translates into possibly 1/2 a season of our QB in a green jersey. Grass stains green. And ultimately Ls in the W-L column.

I still vividly remember Todd Kelly abusing that FR tackle for UF in 93 I think. It was horrible and that QB ran for his life all day. That poor kid got schooled, but before he left UF he was All-SEC 1st team I think.

Good points, but it could be an ugly first 8 games or so.

I'm about to start a dynasty on NCAA 2011 PS3 with named rosters. The roster I downloaded is good but not 100% accurate. (I know it's not 100%, because they have Lamaison as the 3rd QB.) What is everyone's best guess at the opening day depth chart for the Vols? (If a player is banged up but expected back within the first few weeks of the season, consider them as part of the opening day depth chart.) Below is what the roster I downloaded has:

Try rosters from luvtotha9s

he is still working on updating depth charts and making some adjustments in ratings and will continue to update throughout the season.

I am contending that having 8 underclassmen, 5 of whom are freshmen, in your 2 deep oline is no way to make a living in the SEC.
