UC Berkeley’s athletic department recently faced scrutiny when Humphreys received a $3.5 million settlement from the campus in July. Humphreys had filed a lawsuit claiming that the athletics department was a hostile work environment for women and that she was fired for bringing the problems to light. “The third prong is a lot of backsliding,” Humphreys said. “By being able to put all of the attention on football, women’s sports were being neglected. I still believe that women’s sports are still not fully funded on this campus.”

I don't know all the Xs and Os here, but I'm not gonna dump on anyone for having to battle Title IX in a California court system. What a nightmare...

In berkeley telling a woman she has nice shoes probably would warrant a $500,000 settlement.
