When all was said and done, Rivals awarded that coveted fifth star to 33 prospects last year. If they follow roughly the same trajectory this year, Jalen Hurd almost certainly will receive that grade. Josh Malone is really close to the cusp right now at no. 38. Dillon Bates, however, still has some climbing to do in all likelihood. He is currently ranked no. 59 nationally.
1 reason i personally dont think he will get the 5* is he was a low 4* out of high school (IIRC), and i dont think they will give out 2 5 stars to WRs. i hope im wrong. i think Dhaquille will be the only 5* WR
Some rankings differ a lot comparing a kid out of HS and out of Juco. I don't recall the players name but I saw one the other day where he was a 76 2* out of HS and is now rated a 94 4* coming out of Juco.
yeah a lot of kids make a big jump. im new to recruiting this year so im pretty unclear with how JUCO rankings work. 247 only has like 40 JUCO players ranked right now. how many 5*s do they usually hand out?
If we finish with at least two 5 Stars can we stay at number one? I def think we stay in top three with two 5's
a 5* JUCO doesnt earn near the points a 5* HS player earns.
They only award JUCOs points for their stars..
They award HS players points for their stars plus points for their overall ranking.
so a 4* HS player can earn more points than a 5* JUCO
