What if...

Saw this on another board but what if ....

Fulmer is interim for one year with Freeze as OC, then Freeze takes over next year??

Opportunity knocks! He will end up at Georgie or Bama' if the Vols don't get him!

Who else beats Saban?

I like that idea about as much as getting hit by a bus.

What's with giving Fulmer the benefit of the doubt here?

Everything in the media points to Currie having come to an agreement with Leach. The only person that benefits from torpedoing the deal is Fulmer.

Fulmer can't. Davenport torpedoed it. Fulmer has only been in advisory role.

Or just maybe Gruden will come home now?

One of the major reasons Gruden doesn't want to come to Tennessee is the corrupt "powers that be" who control everything. The whole program needs to "clean house" of the good ol' boy system that has been in play for a very long time. It includes the influence and power of Haslam and the boosters who pull many of the strings. Until fans demand change, this will continue to be our football program's downfall.

Terrible idea

You guys need to get out of Fulmers jock

He started this mess and left us to the point we had to start two walk-ons on the OL in 2009

He hasn't coached in 10 years and was a fraction of himself when he was fired in 2008

Just when I thought VN couldn't get more screwed up
Man Count, I had come to the conclusion that VN was too young to remember the actual reasons for Fulmer's demise. He's 100% remembered for what he did, not for what he had become.

I was at UT when Fulmer replaced Majors. We did not have social media then, but the rumors were Fulmer did have a hand in forcing Majors out.

I really do not know what to believe at this moment.

I do believe the rumors that Majors was hitting the bottle pretty hard at the time. So, maybe it was a necessity to get him fired. Maybe it was just a side benefit that it meant Fulmer getting the job.

Same situation here. Maybe he really believes that what he is doing is the best for the University.

I hope in the end that the truth comes out, not just everybodys false narratives.

How f'ing old are you, shut down after I read your opening sentence. We don't need to make a hasty hire, we need is to get the current firestorm under control.
