I am a UT grad and bleed orange...but am also trying to temper my expectations for next year. Let's say Hunter isnt at full strength and Patterson isnt as good as expected. I think most vol fans are underestimating the wolfpack, miss st and mizz. IMHO, these are tossup games until we prove differently. Our bad special teams, running game and Bray's inconsistency against decent competition are all

Well Scott Hall is out. Hollywood Hogan is getting old. Kevin Nash is still pretty tough though. Macho Man is dead. I like our chances with the Wolfpack.

I will still be a Vol fan! If we (fans) can make it through the 2011 season and still wear our orange with pride on saturdays then I think we can handle anything.

Dont temper anything. Be optimistic. Last year people were saying the same stuff about cincy and we saw how that worked out.
Im super confident that the run game will look good this year? Why you ask? Last year it was obvious they focused on making the passing game drive the offense. We saw how that looked before bray and hunter went down. If they are putting as much emphasis on running as they did passing last year, there is no way we wont be mightily improved. Say what you will about Chaney but I think he did a helluva job getting the starters ready last year. Add that to the new (and imo better) assistants on the offensive side and I believe they are gonna get these guys coached right. Dont let it bother you op. No reason to doubt until reason is given.

I think allot will happen between now and then...one thing we have on our side how do you practice against or defense...what will we run...so maybe the first half for the wolf pack will be unsettled and very conservative because of the unknown….1st half should be ours...second half will be a toss up depending on Bray...from what I hear about the running game...we should be fine..UT wins.

Umm...did you watch our running game last year?

Yeah, because if you lost to nc state and uf, you'd run the table from there

You have a point, but I think he would finish the season before a decision was made. What if we lost to ncsu and uf, but surprised uga and had a situation against bama similar to 09, and finished 9-3?

The young team caves under the pressure similar to last year and Dooley is fired at the end of October.
