Were this a single incident and there were no other mitigating circumstance,i.e. his behavior to his teammates in the locker room etc, then yes I think an argument could be made to allow him back. That being said however, with more info coming out this has been brewing for some time apparently and hubris is likely the major culprit here.

Why are we still talking about him? He quit in the team and proved a huge distraction in a critical game last week. Refusing to go in and carlin then having a key fumble that sealed the loss most likely is all on him. He can GTFO. I hope his career suffers too. Would be hilarious if he can't make it in the NFL. These entitled players need a good slap in the face that the world doesn't revolve around them.

That is more on Dobbs than anyone else.

I'm sure Dobbs feels that way to a degree. Hurd was 1st person Dobbs went to after CFA fumble as if to say, "you should have been in there." UT had used the no back formation several times during that game also. Biggest problem of all is we are trying to win out and need every bit of help we can get and he picked a bad time to "show his azz." Just a harsh lesson in reality. I doubt Hurd realizes how foolish all this is. Probably wondering now who his next babysit, er I mean coach is gonna be and where at.

You have too. Most don't even know my original name as you do nor why I changed it---it was a joke which you actually probably dont know. That poster doesnt even come around anymore unless he changed his name too.

I have posted things just to screw with people because I like a good boom. I have admitted that I have posted things like that.

But this is different.

I am not going to sit back and watch a kid get thrown under the bus. Unless he is a pathological liar, has fooled everyone one of his friends and family, and tricked the people closest to him, he had a concussion against GA and was not able to fly to AM.

He is not a diva. He is actually a pretty quiet kid.

And the yelling at the coach stuff is BS.

I gain nothing from sticking up for him at this point. All I gain is a bunch of posters on here hating me...which gets me nothing.

But I will be damned if I let the lies go by.

No one is perfect but he is not this cancer everyone is trying to make him out to be now.

The biggest problem right now is Jalen feels the coach has zero regard for his health. That is the issue. The main issue. Right or wrong, that is the center of the issue.

Da#n, you sound pretty adamant. Why after viewing game film have i not been able to see JH being attended on the sidelines or view a play where he took a lick that led to concussion? All I saw was he was in on UGA's last kickoff. I can see him feeling he was being abused but AK and JK are running ball and gaining yards. It appears he's angry at his coaches for the pitiful play calling when defenses are loading the box and opposing defenses do load the box every damn play Hurd is in there on running downs. This is understandable only to an extent. There's a right way and a wrong way to vent your frustrations other than letting your teammates down or by projecting a prima dona image. That's babyish. I do defend him some but who has he talked to about it in a manly way? Seeing the numerous injuries around him and who can explain why UT seens to have an abnormally high amount of injuries compared to other teams, is reason for him to consider him taking himself out? Is he seeing the Sutton injury as something that may cost him bucks in the future? Does he feel CBJ could care less about his health. We, as fans, don't have the complete truth so we're feeding off of each other guessing at somethings. We dang sure need to move on is all I know. GBO!!!
