Hypothetically, what differences do you think there would be, if any? In our record, our overall defensive play, attitude, etc.

I think Berry might have gotten a few snaps at wide receiver and wouldn't be a safety right now. He might still be in the corner rotation.

we would definitely be better... but how much better? i dont know... given the time in the pocket... i dont think CB's could do much better.... but one thing for sure is the losses wouldnt be by that big margin...

Our secondary has definitely taken a lot of hits and to answer your question, I think it would've made a big difference. However, we would still have the same defensive line. If you don't get pressure on the QB at some point, he's going to find an open receiver.

What if Fulmer and the rest of the staff hadn't gotten old and senile so early in life. What if half the players they recruit hadn't been idiots and gotten themselves thrown off the team for making bonehead decisions.

We have no secondary. The coaches commented on this at the season's start. Their plan was to make do and fill in. So, that's what we're doing.

Watch every team attack our make-shift secondary.

what if Alabama hadn't suspended 2 starters and 3 others before the game? It's just an excuse, you go with who you got.

The funny thing is, this year there haven't been any key injuries. I guess we don't have any key players this year.

Fellows was buried on the depth chart this spring so I highly doubt he would have made an impact this year

probably not going to matter who you put in there as long as slade is the teacher...(your a HS all-american when you come in and a HS all-american when you leave)

I think with the staff we have it doesn't matter who we have playing. After a few weeks of listening to them they would be playing down to a level to which we are sadly becoming accustomed:banghead2:

Wouldn't matter that much....no matter what anyone on this board says.

If your defensive line isn't getting any pressure on the QB, the best DBs can't cover all day. D-line is the issue...plain and simple

Kind of like the Denver Broncos.

The article in the Tennessean talked to Chavis, laid most of the blame on freshmen CB (Vinson) getting picked on by Alabama.

Apparently the coaching staff believed Alabama would run the ball more and thats what they had prepared for.

Plus Saban caught all kinds of mistakes in his game preparation. The kickoff team running back before the kicker kicked the ball etc.
